NEW Exhibit: Planet Pioneers

FEBRUARY 22 – MAY 9

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live on a different planet? Leave Earth behind and travel through space for an experience unlike any other in Planet Pioneers coming to Orlando Science Center in Spring 2021.

With 17 unique interactive exhibits, Planet Pioneers will put budding space explorers to the test as they attempt to source their own food and shelter, and solve problems in an unknown world. From mapping and exploring rocky surfaces, to monitoring and solving environmental emergencies, living in a new world is no easy task!

The pressure is on. Literally! Brace yourself for exciting challenges including driving a 4D Surface Exploration Vehicle, or flying a virtual drone to solve environmental issues. Planet Pioneers will not only challenge aspiring astronauts to learn about the physical challenges of space exploration, but will also focus on teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving.

Before arriving at the planet, you will need to successfully pack the right equipment for the voyage, recruit the perfect crew and learn about the surrounding planets in the solar system. Once landed, challenge yourself to find sources of water and oxygen, grow food in the foreign atmosphere, and build shelter to survive the elements.

With everything we’ve learned about Mars, our closest planetary neighbor, in recent years and the resurgence in space exploration, we could see someone living on Mars in your lifetime! Could that be YOU? Do you have what it takes to survive on another planet?

Planet Pioneers was created and designed by Scitech and produced by Imagine Exhibitions.
