Wacky Races Design Competition January‐May 2015 Orleans House Gallery invites all budding young artists in schools across the London Boroughs of Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow to enter the Wacky Races Design Competition for our New Beep Beep! Trains, Planes and Automobiles Exhibition opening on 28 May 2015.

Your Challenge! Calling all vehicle inventors to design their own environmentally friendly mode of transport! -

Does it fly in the air, or swim through water or go on the ground?

- Remember to give your vehicle a name as well. DEADLINE – Friday 17 April 2015

Requirements •

Artworks must be no bigger than A4

Artworks can be submitted in any media, including: drawing, painting, collage, mixed media or photography. All works must be submitted via your school or alternative education provision. Your teachers can help you with this.

The Winner The winning entry / school will be given a FREE workshop in May to work with Artist, Michelle Reader and transform their design in to a sculpture for the exhibition. The top entries will also have their designs exhibited in Beep Beep! Trains, Planes and Automobiles (28 May‐30 August).

Submitting To submit your work, please email or post the artwork with the completed entry form (below) including: the title and a brief description of the inspiration behind the young artist’s work.
