Beginner Tai Chi

Harness and cultivate your internal energy and explore the many health benefits that can be gained through the practice of Tai Chi. Great for beginners and people of any age and almost any ability. The beginner class teaches forms that are shorter and easier to learn with a higher stance (no deep knee bending), agile steps and Qigong exercise throughout. It can be done standing or seated and can be modified to meet each individual’s abilities. The CDC and the Agency on Aging recommend Tai Chi for arthritis and fall prevention. The Arthritis Foundation worldwide supports this program as well. As you learn movements you will also learn to focus on movement control, weight transference and integration of mind and body.
