Diving Camps

Intro

Learn basic fundamental diving skills. Divers will start with diving from the side of pool and progress to a front dive with approach from the diving board.

Intermediate

This camp is a great start for those interested in competitive diving associated with participation on a high school swim team. Time will be spent learning fundamental skills and basic dives to prepare athletes for future competition.

Swimming Lesson Pre-Assessment

• If you are a new family to Orono Community Education’s swimming lessons, we encourage you to schedule a free swimming pre-assessment to determine the best level for your swimmer. Pre-assessments take place at the Orono pool. Instructors will guide your swimmer through a set of skills in a 15-minute period.

• Pre-assessments for Winter/Spring 2024 lessons will take place in Early December

• Email Tara St. Martin to receive scheduling info at tara.st.martin@orono.k12.mn.us.

• Note: Attending a pre-assessment does not guarantee a spot in lessons. Spots fill quickly.
