Oro Valley Vista Newsletter February 2019

Make your voice heard!

Do you have one minute a month to help make Oro Valley even better? Resident input is essential to the Town’s decisionmaking process, so we’ve launched a new online tool to make sure we’re hearing from the entire demographic spectrum. With the new FlashVote platform, you can sign up to take a oneminute survey (no more than once a month). Survey responses are anonymous and will provide statistically valid information for Council and Town leadership to make important decisions about Town operations and capital improvements, from parks and recreation, to programs and services. Everyone who takes the survey receives the results once the survey closes. The Town’s first survey will be sent out in early February, so sign up today at www.flashvote.com/orovalley and make sure your voice is heard!

Construction alert

Phase II of the La Cholla Blvd. widening project has begun, between Overton and Tangerine, with an estimated completion date of mid to late 2020. This project will help reduce congestion, improve safety and provide additional capacity for future traffic demands along La Cholla. Throughout the various stages of construction, the traveling public should expect heavy delays, especially during morning and afternoon commute hours. If possible, please use alternate routes. Stay up-to-date by visiting http://www.lachollaimprovements.info. Project questions may be sent to info@LaChollaImprovements.info. You may also call 520-885-9009
