Maintenance • Clean the device with a dry cloth • When the display appears "battery", unscrew the screws and remove the battery cover, remove old battery and insert a new 9 V. 2. General description The device operates accurately and safely hidden in the wall defining tries wooden and metal racks, metal pipes and internal wiring with AC. 3. 6. Operating Instructions The device operates accurately and safely. It is used to search for postings to the three-phase and single-phase distribution architrave, switches, sockets. It detects edges hidden in the walls of wood or metal studs, metal pipes and internal wiring with AC voltage. 7. Notice • Will not detect damp wood or board (“STUD” mode) • Will not detect a combination of defects (“STUD” mode) • Will not detect two hot wires in a circuit (“AC” mode)

1) Press “STUD” button 2) Attach the device to the wall. Press and hold the scan button. Do not move the unit until calibration is completed. When calibration is complete, the display will show the symbol “READY” and an alarm sounds. 3) If you have made calibration front of the reception, a continuous signal will sound. Move the unit a few centimeters to the right or left, release the scan button, and those repeaters step 2) 4) After calibration, continue to hold the scan button and slowly move the unit along the surface of the wall. 5) When the device detects a stud edge, the level of the signal is full and beep sounds. Mark the location with the edge of metal embedded in the upper part of the instrument. 6) Keep moving along the wall to the unit until a beep goes off. Move the device in the opposite direction to locate other edge od stud and mark it. The middle of the stud will be located between the two marks.

9. Metal pipe detection 1) Press “METAL” button 2) Place the device suspend in the air. Press and hold the scan button. Do not move the unit until calibration is complete. When calibration is complete, the display will show the symbol “READY” will display and an alarm sounds. 3) When the unit detect a metal pipe the level of the signal is full and beep sounds. 4) Mark the location with the edge of metal embedded in the upper part of the instrument.

10. AC voltage detection 1) Press the "AC" button. 2) Attach the device to the wall. Press and hold the scan button. Slowly move the device along the surface of the wall. 3) When the device detects a live 50 V or higher sourcer, the level of the signal is full and beep sounds. 4) Mark the location with the edge of metal embedded in the upper part of the instrument.
