When I was in high school, I didn't have access to a Jewish mentor on campus, so I navigated college life with the tools from home, education, family, and friends. As an NCSY alumni, I'm proud of how far this organization has come, especially in Israel Education and Advocacy.
I shared a story from 2022 when anti-Semitic incidents surged on campus. To respond, I joined FAU’s Student Government, representing the Jewish community and promoting diversity and unity. Through partnerships and hard work, we successfully passed legislation to adopt the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism.
I encouraged the students to be proud of who they are and to shine as lights among the nations. I blessed them with successful, enriching college experiences and reminded them to trust their instincts. We thrive when we listen to our inner voices.”
