Myself and three fellow graduates (working collaboratively) were commissioned by Hammerson to document the development and construction of the Leeds Victoria Gate shopping centre. Visiting the site on a regular bi-monthly basis, we produced a wide range of imagery with various approaches including documentary style shots of construction workers, detail and abstract shots from the site, interior and exterior architectural shots, still life studio shots created with items from the site, and much more. 23

A collaboration with fellow photography graduate Alex Bibby. We were commissioned to produce photographic artwork to be displayed and sold in Village Bookstore. This was to celebrate their relocation to Thornton’s Arcade in Leeds City Centre. We created a four part series of prints titled ‘Analogies’. Each print in the series represented a different character taken from the iconic Ivanhoe Clock featured at the west end of Thornton’s Arcade (showing the characters Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, King Richard the Lionheart and Gurth the Swineherd from Sir Walter Scott’s novel Ivanhoe). We then designed and produced a limited run of retail packs, including the 4 prints and a wrap around cover, that were to be sold through Village Bookstore.
