Welcome to the Osceola County Association of REALTORS®, Inc.--commonly referred to as OSCAR. We are excited to have you as part of the family! As a member of OSCAR, you are part of the largest trade association in Osceola County and you have joined more than 200,000 REALTORS® in Florida and 1.4 million REALTORS® in the United States.

We are dedicated to your success through professional development, advocacy and community engagement. This handbook was created to help you learn more about our Association and the many ways we can connect you with resources to grow your business. Membership has its rewards! Advocacy: We work for you by advocating for federal, state, and local policy initiatives that strengthen the ability of Americans to own, buy, and sell real property. We also work with you, by providing a wide variety of resources to foster and harness the grassroots strength of the REALTOR® Party. The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) advocates every day on behalf of the nation’s 1.4 million REALTORS® and 75 million property owners. NAR is widely considered one of the most effective advocacy organizations in the country.

Professional Development: Boost your salary and client base through continuing education and specialty training. We offer a wide selection of real estate training options for members including classroom and online courses, training towards earning designations and certifications, webinars, and access to a Masters of Real Estate degree. As a member, you also have access to the world’s largest real estate library provided by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Information: Access the latest news that affect the real estate industry through our social media sites, signing up for our texting program or reading your copy of our monthly electronic newsletter and weekly REALTORS® Resource email. We keep you informed on what matters.

Professional Standards: REALTORS® are different from non-member licensees in that you voluntarily subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics. If you believe that a REALTOR® has violated one or more Articles of the Code of Ethics, we offer a cost-effective process to resolve these issues. In addition, we assist REALTORS® who wish to arbitrate contractual and specific non-contractual disputes.
