Nuevo desarrollo enriquecerá el Distrito Histórico del Centro de Kissimmee y el Distrito de las Artes Médicas

Kissimmee, FL - Un nuevo apartamento multifamiliar viene a la Ciudad de Kissimmee. GreenBarn Investment Group y Skyview Companies pronto empezarán con la construcción de una nueva comunidad de 312 unidades en Beaumont Avenue.

Los Apartamentos Allen son la primera fase del Proyecto de Reurbanización de Beaumont. Un espacio de 20 acres que cumplirá la misión de la Ciudad a largo plazo de agregar más viviendas en el Área de Reurbanización Comunitaria (CRA, por sus siglas en inglés) del centro de Kissimmee.

En el 2018, la Ciudad de Kissimmee adquirió ésta propiedad del Condado Osceola con el propósito de fomentar la reurbanización, algo que es consistente con los objetivos de la comisión de la ciudad para el CRA y el creciente número de empleadores en el Distrito de los Artes Médicos. La Ciudad de Kissimmee y el CRA contribuyeron $9 millones para realizar este proyecto que cuesta aproximadamente $200 millones. Los fondos de la Ciudad serán usados para la infraestructura y otras instalaciones públicas.

“Este desarrollo marca un hito importante para la ciudad de Kissimmee, ya que nos estamos esforzando por crear un estilo de vida más atractivo aquí,” dijo la alcaldesa Olga González. “Esta es una asociación público-privada que contribuirá a fortalecer la economía general de Kissimmee."

El Allen, que se está refiriendo como "la joya de Kissimmee", contará con apartamentos de 1, 2 y 3 habitaciones a precio de mercado para uso multifamiliar y reservarán 16 unidades para viviendas asequibles.

Este proyecto ayudará a expandir la red de calles y va a mejorar la conectividad del sitio con el Hospital HCA Florida Osceola. Aultman Street se extenderá hasta North

Clyde Avenue y Beaumont Avenue se extenderá hasta Martin Luther King Boulevard y se alineará con la entrada del hospital.

El Allen está destinado a mejorar la accesibilidad para peatones al conectar a las personas con un espectro de experiencias de vida y trabajo, desde vecindarios establecidos, hasta un campus médico próspero y hacia el centro de la ciudad.

Las fases 2 y 3 de El Allen incluirán espacio para oficinas residenciales, comerciales y médicas. La construcción de El Allen comenzará a mediados o finales de mayo, y se prevé una construcción completa a mediados o finales del 2024.

New Development to enrich the Downtown Kissimmee Historic District and Medical Arts District area

Kissimmee, FL - A multifamily apartment is on the rise within the City of Kissimmee. The GreenBarn Investment Group and Skyview Companies are moving forward with construction for a new 312-unit community on Beaumont Avenue.

The Allen Apartments are the first phase of the Beaumont Redevelopment Project. A 20-acre space that will fulfill the City’s longterm mission of adding more housing in the Downtown Kissimmee Community Redevelopment Area (CRA).

Back in 2018, the City of Kissimmee acquired this property from Osceola County with the purpose of fostering redevelopment, something that is consistent with the

City commission’s goals for the CRA and the growing number of employers in the Medical Arts District. The City of Kissimmee and the CRA contributed $9 million to this $200 million project. The City’s funding is going towards infrastructure and other public facilities.

“This development marks a significant milestone for the City of Kissimmee, as we strive to create a more attractive lifestyle out here," Mayor Olga Gonzalez said. “This is a public-private partnership that is bound to contribute to the strength of Kissimmee’s overall economy.”

The Allen which is crowning itself as “the Jewel of Kissimmee” will feature 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments at market rate for multi-family use and 16 units will be set aside under affordable housing.

This project will help expand the street grid and is going to improve the site’s connectivity with the HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. Aultman street will be extended all the way to North Clyde Avenue and Beaumont Avenue will be extended to Martin Luther King Boulevard and align with the hospital’s entrance.

The Allen is meant to enhance walkability by connecting people to a spectrum of living and working experiences, from existing established neighborhoods, through a vibrant mixed-use urban core, to a prospering medical campus and onward to a central downtown.

Phases 2 and 3 of The Allen will include residential, as well as commercial, retail and medical office space. Construction of the Allen will begin in mid to late May, with a full build out anticipated in mid to late 2024. For more information about the City of Kissimmee visit, www.Kissimmee.gov.

Kissimmee, FL - Hope Partnership co patrocinó el evento de “Open House” (casa abierta) junto a The Teale Apartments para viviendas dignas y asequibles para la fuerza laboral turística de Florida Central. El evento se llevó a cabo en las instalaciones de The Teale Apartments en Kissimmee el pasado 8 de mayo.

Estuvo presente el Congresista de Estados Unidos Darren Soto, la Representante Kristen Arrington y la Comisionada Cheryl Grieb del Condado Osceola, entre otros oficiales electos.

The Teale Apartments mostró un hermoso apartamento tipo estudio con todo in- cluido a los asistentes de la comunidad de los Condados Osceola, Orange y Seminole, como un ejemplo de reutilización adaptativa para viviendas asequibles. Pronto se construirán más viviendas asequibles, muy similares a las de The Teale.

Decent and Affordable Housing for Florida's Tourism Workforce

Kissimmee, FL - Hope Partnership cosponsored the "Open House" event with The Teale Apartments for affordable housing for Central Florida's tourism workforce. The event was held at The Teale Apartments facility in Kissimmee on May 8.

In attendance were U.S. Congressman Darren Soto, U.S. Representative Kristen Arrington and Osceola County Commissioner Cheryl Grieb, among other elected officials.

The Teale Apartments showcased a beautiful all-inclusive studio apartment to attendees from the Osceola, Orange and Seminole County community as an example of adaptive reuse for affordable housing. More affordable housing, much like The Teale, will be built soon.
