2 - 4 JULY 2024 | WARSAW, POLAND
OVERVIEW
About the event
2024 is the 10-year anniversary of the tragic shootdown of Malaysian Airlines flight MH-17. It is an appropriate time to review where we are as an industry in dealing with the risks posed by conflict in the airspace through which airlines fly.
In an industry first, the conference will bring together the three key stakeholders - regulators, operators, and insurers This will enable us to break down silos and more effectively and efficiently address the dynamic challenges posed by overflight risk
The main objective of this conference is to support the aviation industry in shaping the future of overflight risk management While the conference itself is a significant event, our aspirations extend far beyond its immediate duration
By the end of WORC 2024, you will have had the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills around overflight risk-related processes and gaps, current industry initiatives, and gain specific tools to improve your risk assessments and enable proactive decision-making
The event is to be focused on education and collaboration to support the industry in developing mechanisms to deal with these risks All profits of this event will go to the charities helping the families of the victims of the MH-17 and PS752 disasters
