Candra Ward

Digital Stylist Coach & Author

Candra Ward (@candra_ward) is a lifestyle and business strategist for women who need a fresh start and want to teach what they know. She specializes in supporting moms and hairstylists. However, she also enjoys helping the woman who needs the confidence to start again and create an amazing online service-based business using her gifts and skill sets to have a sense of purpose, increase their revenue, and have more time to do what they want and love. As a result of working with Ward, they also get clear on their genius, build confidence in what they have to offer and create a profitable and sustainable business around the life they desire and deserve.

As a 15-year salon owner, before she started her coaching and consulting company, she hit a breaking point due to seeking out her next phase of life and experiencing burnout. So, she willingly closed her salon, packed up herself and her oldest son and moved to another state. After taking some time to reinvent herself, she ended up taking on a brief teaching career, getting married and becoming a new mom again after 21 years!

After having her baby, she decided that she wanted to stay home with him, so she began seeking out ways to work from home and started doing some intense research on making that happen. It was a very challenging process because she had become so accustomed to a particular lifestyle of 22 years of entrepreneurship and making consistent money. She would sometimes get frustrated because things were not moving as fast as she would have liked.

She ended up taking another teaching job to get the money to invest in coaching, then she began to do the work aggressively. She already knew that she wanted to teach and help others reach their goals, but she just wasn’t clear on the delivery method.

As her coaching business grew, it allowed her to work with many amazing clients, stand on amazing stages and platforms and teach what she knew and loved. She understands, first hand, the frustration, confusion and

helplessness that bombards the mind when you are trying to figure out your next phase of life. This is why she is on a personal mission to help salon professionals and mom entrepreneurs Rise, Reposition & Rebuild their lives and share their gifts and greatness with the world.

Ward joined Miki Wright for the ‘Your Online Success’ series to show hairstylists how to take what they know and love - whether it’s hairstyling, cooking, or any other hobby - and monetize it by turning it into a course, a book or a high-level Signature Program. In addition, Ward shared some great secrets on how she overcame her fear of doing videos for exposure and social media.

The digital world isn’t going anywhere, it’s time to learn and embrace it. Watch Ward’s full interview on https://YouTube.com/mikiwright and watch your confidence increase!
