Get the most out of your Cordless

T-Outliner® Li

by Kenny Duncan

Did you know that the Cordless T-Outliner is strong enough to be used like a clipper? The rotary motor inside the Cordless T-Outliner has enough torque to cut through thick, wet hair and can be used for

everything from bulk hair removal to precision clipper-overcomb cutting. The best time-saving technique I use it for is blending hair that is as short as a 00000 up to a 1 blade set. I use the wider teeth on the extreme ends of the lower blade against the scalp at acute angles (up to a 90-degree right angle) to isolate 1-2 cutter blades and blend the hair in a less aggressive way.

What’s the benefit of the stock blade? The shallow teeth on the stock blade are legendary for gripping hair with high tension to achieve precision outlining.

The ultimate pairing: I love pairing the Cordless T-Outliner with a deep tooth trimmer blade like the GTX as this facilitates so many more techniques like dry shaving, trimmer-overcomb and maintaining a zero gapped setting to perform clean outlines. The deep tooth design on the lower blade of the GTX blade allows for more hair to feed through the trimmer blade, leading to faster and smoother bulk removal.
