Friends of the Emmet O’Neal Library Booksale - Preview Party
If you are looking to laissez les bon temps roulez in honor of Fat Tuesday, look no further than the annual Kids’ Mardi Gras parade on Feb. 25. The parade is hosted annually by the Moms Club of Birmingham’s Over the Mountain chapter, affiliated with the International Moms Offering Moms Support club. Guests are invited to attend or participate in the parade, which begins at 3:45 p.m. in Homewood Central Park. Those who wish to participate in the parade can bring beads, candy or moon pies to throw. Following the parade, king cake will be served. The club is composed of mostly stay-at-home moms or moms with flexible work hours. Members meet for playdates, take part in moms’ night out events and more.
