Breweries

(405) Brewing Co. 1716 Topeka Dr | 205 E Main St

As Norman's first production brewery, (405) Brewing Co. is on a mission to share craft beer with the local community while building up and partnering with other small businesses. We strive to be creative in brewing stouts, sours and standard beer using traditional ingredients along with fresh fruit and other innovative processes.

Legally Brewed 123 W Main St

Legally Brewed started 15 years ago in a garage with a few friends creating beer that brings people together. We design beers for everyone: from people who never thought they would like beer to those who like beer flavored beer. We do this by putting fun twists on old classics and bring new and exciting flavors to enhance the tasting experience. Our love for community doesn't just stop at beer. We always have non-alcoholic menu items so everyone can feel included. So come play board games with us, listen to vinyl records, or gather around our stage in the venue space and listen to some live music!

Beer Is Good Brewing Company 216 E Main St

Coming from 20 years of home brewing started in our college house kitchens, we’re not interested in brewing the same flagship beers day after day. Small batch brewing allows us to frequently rotate our offerings so you can always find something fresh and interesting on tap. We’ll be brewing old standby classics and new cutting edge favorites, including hop-loaded juice bombs, light and refreshing lagers, roasty thiccc stouts, and hefty slow sippers. We want you to enjoy something new and different every time you visit.

Lazy Circles Brewing 422 E Main St

Lazy Circles Brewing opened in November 2017 by local homebrewers Stephen Basey, Holly Basey, and Stephen Swanson. We pride ourselves on offering a fun and inviting taproom to serve delicious craft beer, where folks can gather and enjoy themselves. Our beers are mostly traditional styles with whatever else we feel like brewing at the moment. Also home to the world's best brewery bike ride in the world.

Crossed Cannons Brewery 333 W Boyd St

Crossed Cannons Brewery is located in the heart of historic Campus Corner that overlooks the University of Oklahoma campus. Crossed Cannons is a military-themed brewery, which is evident in the taproom decor and the names of each of the beers. From the popular game daylight lager to the top-selling NE IPA, this brewery showcases a wide range of beer styles to please every craft beer fan.

FOR WELL OVER A CENTURY,

the University of Oklahoma has been a place of opportunity and excellence with a legacy of producing world-class scholars and leaders. All that we do at OU is driven by our fundamental purpose – We Change Lives – three small but powerful words that carry deep meaning.

At the heart of our purpose is the student experience, shaped by our deliberate efforts to prepare students for a life of success, meaning, service and positive impact. In everything we do, we prioritize the needs of our students, equipping them to enter society as leaders who understand the world around them and who are motivated to make a meaningful difference.

In each step of the OU journey, students are afforded a wealth of resources and a dedicated community to support growth and success. More than anything, our commitment to becoming a place of true belonging for all is what makes OU so special. Although our campus community comes from different places and backgrounds, we are one family, united by the traditions we hold dear and inspired by the shared values that let us dream and achieve together.

OU APPLICATION & ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

Students interested in attending OU should join our mailing list at go2.ou.edu/mailing-list . This is the best way for students and families to receive information about OU’s application process, scholarships, and important dates and deadlines.

START THE OU JOURNEY

OU’s Concurrent Enrollment program provides students the opportunity to take OU courses during high school. We offer classes both in-person and online, and students do not need a test score to apply. Learn more about classes and requirements at ou.edu/ce.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Students can apply to OU through the Common Application, Coalition with Scoir Application, or the OU Application at apply.ou.edu . We use a holistic admissions process. We understand that students are so much more than letters or numbers on a transcript, so our application is divided into four categories:

Academic rigor, including GPA, test scores (encouraged), class rank, and course rigor

Leadership experience, community involvement, etc.

Writing and self-expression measured through an essay

Up to three letters of recommendation (optional)

The University of Oklahoma practices a test-optional admissions policy. Students do not need a test score to be considered for admission and scholarships. However, we do still encourage applicants to submit a test score if possible to ensure accurate course placement and maximize scholarship opportunities. Visit go2.ou.edu/test-scores to learn more.
