Back in 2002, I married a Shawnee girl, and made this my new home My wife Phyllis and I grew into the family pictured above and we enjoy Shawnee every single day.
Shawnee is close to everything; located on I-40 just east of OKC, minutes from I-44, I-35, and historic Route 66. Shawnee has approximately 32,000 people, making it one of Oklahoma’s mid-sized cities. We like to say we have all those big brands you know, plus independent shops and restaurants you will love. Citizen Potawatomi descendant and Sac and Fox Nation tribal member Jim Thorpe is arguably the best athlete of the 20th Century.
