Terry Baker is not only the first Oregon State player to win the Heisman Trophy, college football’s highest accolade, he was the first player from the West Coast to win the prestigious award. Terry is also the only player in history to win the Heisman and appear in an NCAA Final Four in basketball – a feat accomplished in the same year.
The Society will recognize donors who have made commitments to Oregon State Athletics of $100,000 or more since July 1, 2017. Members of this group are invested in the continued enhancement of a world-class experience academically, socially, and athletically for all Beaver student-athletes.

TAX CUTS & JOB ACT In January of 2018, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was enacted into legislation, which directly impacted college athletics donors and ticket buyers. This piece of legislation eliminated the deductibility of ticket-related seat contributions and gifts that receive priority points used for ticket placement at home athletic contests.
Prior to implementation of this legislation, OSU Athletics and the OSU Foundation began working diligently with peers around the country, as well as our accounting firm KPMG, to find a tax relief solution for Oregon State season ticket holders. We are happy to inform you of our findings and associated solutions.
