Eddie’s Story Edward (Eddie) James Hereford passed away on May 8, 2014 peacefully at his home in New Orleans. He was 67 years old. He is survived by his wife Trudy Wolf Hereford. He was the son of the late Margarite McGinnis Hereford and Robert Francis Hereford, both of New Orleans. Eddie was born on December 31, 1946 in New Orleans where he graduated from L.E. Robouin High School. After high school his life was misspent in New Orleans until at the age of 42 he moved to Ft. He truly loved everyone he sponsored and believed there was hope and sobriety for all who wanted it, and sometimes even the ones who didn’t. He was also a prominent business owner in the community of Ft. Collins. At the time of his death, he was employed by J Con Construction of New Orleans. He was a member of the Canal Street Church in Mid-City. Eddie is survived by four children, LaVallon Hereford and David O’Connell of New Orleans, & Michelle Coon and Cinamon Hench of Ft. Collins; nine grandchildren, Airyanne Carlos, Tawnee Garcia, Richard Garcia and Mark Garcia, all of California, Alex Duzat, Johnathan O’Connell and Talia O’Connell of New Orleans, Tannan Austin and Garrett Hence of Ft. FOND MEMORIES

Our Love…

“To My Husband” We met and fell in love. You were perfect for me and I for you. The day we got married and that small breeze blew through the tent I knew we were soul mates. Together we gave each other a good life – I only wish it could have been longer. It was not always an easy road for us -- We endured many hardships and lessons through our 25 years, loving each other every step of the way. We blended and created a family that we were always proud of. You were always there to help our children with anything they needed. You so loved being “Papa” to our nine grandchildren, loving them more than words can express. Yes Eddie, we did good! I miss you, I love you. God took you to paradise and I saw you dancing with my mother. You said you would be waiting for me with open arms. I am counting on that. I will love you until the end of time!

Love Trudy
