Precious Memories

“Time is limited so

be your best version” – Mildred Lee Armour

“I Loved you then, I Love you still. Always and Forever I will Miss You.” Love Karen “Aunt Mil the Educator: Dillard University A.K.A Elegant, Talented, Committed Outstanding and Respected”. – Cheryl Lee

“There aren’t enough words to describe the impact that this little lady had on me! It’s true that big things come in small packages! Nanny was one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest, straight shooters I’ve ever known and will certainly be missed! - Valdez Bradley

“School Teacher, influencer, educator, Nanny’s rhetoric and ability to recognize the need for children to think and act accordingly will always be a part of my philosophies. She always spoke the truth to me and without her, I am quite positive I couldn’t be the person I am today”. – Jonathan Duperon

My mom always told me when she got me I was the best thing that ever happened to her in her life. - Nicolle A. Warner

Mrs. Mildred Armour, A.K.A. Mil. Educator, mentor, and friend I will always cherish your unconditional love. I will say you have given me inspiration to be all that I am today. No "Yvette" event was too hard for you to support. As you would say often " If Mohamed didn't come to the Mountain, the Mountain had to come to Mohamed"; And Mil you stayed present!!! It's going to be hard not to think of you often because you gave so much. I appreciate you, your teachings, and patience. I will cherish you forever. Rest In Peace and continue to guide me through your spirit that is resting happily in heaven. -Yvette Duperon

I learned so much from her (my inner diva and swag, my mastery of conversations including with the Pope himself and the King of England), she readied me for this - but most importantly she loved me and I her. The endless life lessons she departed with me will live on in my heart forever. Until we meet again, love always and forever, your niece Jazelle.

I'm really going to miss my sister Mildred Lee Armour. Mil and I shared so many memories and sister secrets. She passed away, and now it seems as if a part of my very being is missing. I'm trying so hard to be strong and courageous but when I'm alone, the tears flow. She's always been the strong one and I leaned on her strength. I tried to do everything she expected of me and she had high expectations. My reward was hearing her say she was proud of me and she bragged about my accomplishments to anyone who would listen. She not so long ago said to me,"It's just me and you now girl." (Mama had nine children.) The thing that's hardest to wrap my head around, is the bitter fact that it's not you and me any more....it's just me. I'll always love you Mil. Rest well my sweet sister as you join those loved ones who went before you. Carolyn Lee
