A Mother’s Love A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . . It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . . It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . . It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . . A many splendored miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God’s tender guiding hand.

I Am Free Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand, when I heard him call, then turned, and bid farewell to all. I could not stay another day to laugh , to love, to work to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found my peace at the close of the day. If my parting left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy, A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened…deep with sorrow, I wish you sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wants me now…He set me free.
