Taylor became a license preacher under the leadership of the late Rev. Norden Mayfield, Sr. In January 1993 the late Rev. Mayfield Sr., was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rev. The membership recognized his passion and a burning desire for Soul Winning and Church Growth. Rev. He led our church in supporting many charities and relief efforts. The Church was approved for non-profit status which allowed us to apply for local, state and federal grants to implement after school tutoring programs, GED Prep, and other enhancement programs needed in our community. We follow our Pastor’s leadership as he follows Christ. Rev. Felman Taylor Jr., was a servant; a man called, chosen and sent by God. He’s baptized many, blessed many babies and children, married and counseled many couples, prayed for the sick, contributed to the poor and carried the burdens of the bereaved and troubled. He continuously touched the lives of so many by preaching, teaching, and serving, all in the spirit of the Lord.

You Told Me That You Loved Me

You showed me that you loved me, From that day until now; And I still love you, and will miss you, With God’s help, I’ll make it somehow. Yes you told me in the good times, That your love would remain. And you told me in the bad times, That your love would never change. You showed me that you loved me, In every single way. And that’s why I’ll always love you, You’re in my heart every day. Yes you told me that you loved me, That’s what I heard you say; And forever I will love you, Wait for me, we’ll meet again On that Resurrection Day. All My Love, Wanda

Daddy ... My heart still aches in sadness, My silent tears still flow, For what it meant to lose you No one will ever know. Those special memories of you Will always bring a smile If only I could have you back For just a little while Although you can’t be with me, We’re truly not apart Until the final breath I take, You’ll be living in my heart. Dearest Dad to hear your voice And see your beautiful smile And just to sit and talk to you I would gladly walk a mile.

The fact that you’re no longer here Will always cause me pain But you’re forever in my heart Until we meet again Keya

The way you did on my departing day While thinking of the many things We didn't get to say I know how much you love me As much as I love you And each time you think of me I know you will miss me too When tomorrow starts without me Don't think we’re far apart For every time you think of me I'm right there in your heart
