He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren; never forgetting a birthday or special occasion. He was a surrogate father to his deceased brother’s four kids. He was a major “Saints” fan and loved seafood. Some of his postal worker friends would get together every weekend for a crawfish boil where he indulged in crawfish and raw oysters. He is survived by a host of family & friends and will be sadly missed.

Dear Daddy Your passing took us by surprise, we will never understand, why you left so suddenly to meet you end was not in our plan. You fought a good fight, never complained even when you got bad news. No one will ever know what it was like to walk in your shoes. Your voice, your smile, your awesome sense of humor forever will be gone. We hope and pray GOD will ease our pain to help us carry on. Your work here on earth is done, now its time for you to rest. No illness, no pain, no sorrow or shame …… for GOD knew what’s best. Thank you daddy for the wonderful memories and unconditional love you showed us all. We will always love and miss you with all our hearts….. Love, Pam, Kent , Ronnie, Dana, and Dione

Why A face that is always on my mind, A smile to brighten up all our lives, Two eyes that would light up the night’s sky, Dear Lord I will not ask why, The day was long, then night then morn, I knew that soon you would be gone, Soon we would be out of time, To pray, to laugh, and to cry, Dear Lord I will NOT! Ask why, To stay with us you fought so hard, A million pieces went my heart, But great memories I will always keep, Your Love in my heart eternally,

To understand WHY, I can but try, We pray that God’s Grace and Mercy was there on your side. To a very special Man in our lives.
