His Story Wesley Waldorf Thomas, lifelong resident of New Orleans, passed away on August 07, 2015 at the age of 59. Wesley was born to the late James and Orelia Thomas on June 17, 1956. He received an Honorable discharge for his service. After discharge from the Army he worked as a Radio Dispatcher for ODECO and Murphy Oil from 19782006. Wesley enjoyed spending time with his family. He was very active in his children and grandchildren lives, spending time at the schools, chaperoning field trips, taking them to different outings and just being there for them all. He also enjoyed traveling with his brother Gary. Washing (Leroy); Sister in law: Mercedes Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, James and Orelia Thomas, brothers: Cleveland Jones, Memphis Jones and James R. Thomas Jr. Psalms 24 The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

"THE BROKEN CHAIN" Author: Ron Tranmer
We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Love you Always,
Jean, Lois, Gail & Gary
Memories
“As We Look Back By: CLARE JONES
We find ourselves wondering Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgment, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We're thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us. Love You Forever,
Keandra & Kelsey
My PAPAW, MY Best Friend Author unknown
The one that is our friend, The one that is our guide. How much we love, and how much we’ll miss you, Is too much to describe. You've always been our hero. You've always been our pride. You've always given so much love, And shown what's deep inside. Our heart is full of love. And our soul is all delight. You're the one who put us to sleep, and whispered nighty night. And every day we pray to God, Thanking him for giving us a papaw like you, Because you're the one who spoiled us rotten, And made all our dreams come true! Love and Missing you, Jeremiah and Gary
