H H alloween is going to be spooky again this year! The South Florida Cloggers are sponsoring a 2-day scary haunted house event called "The Legend of the Lodge Returns!" The haunted house will be held at Robbins Lodge in Robbins Lodge Park on October 26th and 27th. It is not for the faint of heart!

Have you ever heard the legend of the lodge? Many years ago, a young girl named Robbin lived in the lodge with her family. One Halloween night, a terrible accident occurred. Over time, the lodge became abandoned. Rumor has it, Robbins lodge has been haunted ever since, and every once in a while, on a cool October night, you can still hear Robbin's screams for help. Join us to find out what horrors still lurk in the darkness.

For those looking for a fun Halloween event with a little bit less fright, the group will also host a “G” rated event on Sunday, October 31, from 1-5pm at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds. The “not so haunted” maze will be a great opportunity for the kids to show off their costumes and maybe get a little candy!

Children, ages 12 and under, are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes to participate in the costume contest. James-Crichton says prizes will be awarded for the Spookiest, Cutest and most original costumes in three age categories: five and under, six to eight years, and nine to 12 years.

Families attending either event are encouraged to follow the latest CDC guidelines for COVID safety.

#1 FOR FUN & GAMES IN SUNRISE!

Have you noticed AMERICA´S ESCAPE GAME (AEG) at 12701 W Sunrise Blvd by Sawgrass Mills Mall?

Escape Rooms are well known by teenagers looking for a way to spend a fun filled afternoon or evening, but did you know Escape Rooms were design first for young adults and then turn to be great for all ages and for the entire family? Escape Rooms, also known as escape games, are one of few activities your entire family can do; grandpa, son and grandson can play together, and while having a lot of fun, the team creates bonds, improve communication, enforces trust, learns about perspective, recognize the value of a team organized to accomplish a common goal, and even, escape rooms, can actually be healthy like going to the gym, but for your brain. Escape Rooms started in the early 2000s in Japan and China. The participants in an escape room normally play as a cooperative team ranging anywhere between two and ten players. Players then generally have 60 minutes to solve a series of puzzles to “escape”. This is also why Escape Rooms are one of top activities for corporate team building events or group events. These games at AEG are also perfect to celebrate your birthday party, holiday party or any type of celebration. Party room, cake and pizza available! Themes at America’s Escape Game include Crisis at 1600, The Caretaker, Asylum, the Lost Tomb of Monthu and Rockefeller’s Secret Mine!
