Broward Church Easter Egg Hunt

Join members of the Broward Church for this annual tradition! Kids will be divided by age group: toddlers- 0-3, preschool - grade 1 and elementary. Easter hunt begins promptly at 11 AM with lots of goddies and toys in each egg. You can walk our campus and join our craft tables, refreshment center, and grab a goodie bag for each child at our Welcome Tent. Virtual Junior Maker Fest

The South Regional/Broward College Library is hosting a free, online Virtual Junior Maker Fest. Age-specific activity kits, also free, allow kids to follow along with handson maker crafts that express creativity with everyday objects. Families can pick up Maker Fest kits at the South Regional/Broward College Library, 7300 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines. There are four kits available, two for younger children (3-5 years) and two for older kids (6-12 years). International Orchid & Bromeliad Show

Experience the beauty and diversity of orchids and bromeliads at the 39th International Orchid and Bromeliad Show at Flamingo Gardens. Rare and ex-otic orchids and bromeliads will be on display and for sale, along with an American Orchid Society judged orchid show hosted by the Flamingo Gardens Orchid Society. Visit the accessory and craft vendors for a variety of orchid supplies and garden-related items. The outdoor event will be spaced for social distancing. Friday Night Artisan Market

Enjoy a wonderful Friday Night browsing and shopping from amazing local artists and crafters while enjoying live music. Also enjoy dinner at any of our onsite amazing eateries. Perfect kick out for the weekend! Hosted by the Weston Town Center, 1675 Market St. Festivities kick off at 6:00 pm. Social Distancing and CDC guidelines will be followed.

Bunny Basics

Are you thinking about adding a bunny to your family this Easter? Already have a bunny and want to learn more? While rabbits may look adorable in an Easter basket, it is important to know that rabbits require a lot of special care and this should all be taken into consideration. Hollywood Beach Sweep

On the second Saturday of every month from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. volunteers meet and collect litter and cigarette butts from the beach. Volunteers must be at least 8 years of age to participate and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress appropriately and wear sunscreen. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided to all volunteers along with safety instructions - Charnow Park - 300 Garfield Street, Hollywood.

Don’t forget to file your tax return (or request an extension). All United States taxpayers are required to file a return with the Internal Revenue Service that shows their income from last year. Naked Warrior Project Fishing Tournament

Are an avid angler? Ready to show your skills and help raise money for real American Heroes? The 3rd Annual tournament will kick off at 6:00am. All funds raised by the event will help support the Naked Warrior Project which memorializes fallen Navy SEALs and helps injured Navy SEALS and their families. PAWS AT THE PARK!

Do you have a four legged friend or looking to add a new furry member to your family? The City of Cooper City will be hosting Paws at the Park on Saturday, April 24 at the Forest Lake Dog Park.
