Miramar and Pembroke Pines continue to grow at an impressive rate, making our area the second most populous area in Broward County. We’re also seeing a lot of new businesses opening up in the area, and our Events Calendar is quickly filling up with ribbon-cutting celebrations.

Ribbon Cuttings are a great opportunity to meet local business leaders, as well as elected officials and other community leaders. Showing support for the business community is integral to fostering a sense of overall community pride and encouraging businesses to support each other.

Ribbon Cutting events are also great opportunities to gain insight into new businesses, products or services, and industries. The general public is always welcome to attend Ribbon Cuttings for any new business - the more the merrier to get the word out!

Remember that small businesses are the backbone of a local economy, and more of each dollar spent locally stays in the community when it's spent at a small business. Supporting local small businesses can also be in the form of following and liking them on social media or leaving them an online review to help encourage others to try out a new business in town.
