LGBTQ+ Southern New Hampshire
Whether you’re a first timer, a regular visitor, or a Granite State native, there are endless adventures waiting for you in New Hampshire. The best part is, it’s all close by! New Hampshire has a backyard vibe you’ll be pressed to find anywhere else. Go climbing to the top of a scenic mountain in the morning, and be home to surf the seacoast at sunset. Feel the rush as you swoop past the trees on a zipline canopy tour, or roar through the woods on an ATV. Paddle through family-friendly Class II rapids, or catch a chairlift up our snowcovered slopes and race your friends downhill.
Manchester is the largest city in New Hampshire with a population just over 110,000. Located on the Merrimack River, Manchester grew from a mill town into a large metropolis with its own sports arena, live theatres, and easy highway access to Massachusetts and Vermont destinations. Manchester is also home to a lively nightlife strip along Elm Street, including several LGBTQ-oriented clubs and friendly restaurants and shops. Home to several colleges, Manchester is an eventful and lively cultural hot spot.

WINTER SERENITIES
NH Philharmonic Orchestra’s winter concert begins with Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis” for double string orchestra and string quartet. The richness and power of this music will overwhelm your spirit and take you to a place of serenity and contemplation, certainly something to embrace in the cold of a New Hampshire winter. Our strings will keep you in that place with Arvo Part’s beautiful “Summa”. We’ll then bring our wonderful principal oboe, Alicia Rockenhauser to the stage for a performance of Eugene Goossen’s Oboe Concerto. Our concert will conclude with Gustav Mahler’s First Symphony.
