LGBTQ+ Atlanta

Atlanta is the South’s most metropolitan city. In fact, over half its residents arrived from somewhere else. Like the city itself, “Hotlanta” attracts men and women from around the South who come here to live free.

Atlanta is the epicenter of the LGBTQ+ South. Home to a vibrant gay community, Atlanta boasts numerous must visit establishments and can’t-miss events. With a constantly growing scene of arts, fine dining, festivals and parties, it’s clear why Yaas-lanta is a top destination for LGBTQ+ visitors.

In fact, Atlanta is often referred to as the gay capital of the South. The gay bars and clubs are a bit spread out, but most cluster around the Midtown area.

You’ll need a car, so be sure to find a designated driver and hit this friendly and fun gay scene. Nightlife isn’t all Atlanta has to offer. With a flare for the arts, Atlanta offers visitors and residents a wide selection of museums, classical music venues and a thriving theatre scene.

Toronto born Noah Reid is known mostly for his work on television, film and stage. If you’re a fan of the popular series Schitt’s Creek, then chances are you’ve heard of the actor. But it wasn’t until recently that the world got a glimpse of his serious musical talent. In 2015, Reid was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Song in the feature film

“People Hold On”. In 2017, Reid’s soulful acoustic cover of Tina Turner’s pop hit “The Best” on CBC’s Schitt’s Creek cracked #3 on the iTunes Canada Charts. That directed fans all over the world to Reid’s 2016 debut solo album

“Songs From A Broken Chair”. With a songwriting style that touches on the singer-songwriters of the seventies and an honest, contemporary delivery, Reid is a combination of old and new, of polished and rusted over. For more info visit:
