ASIAN RESTAURANTS FUSE MEXICAN CULTURE WITH ASIAN FLAVOR

ASIAN CUISINE

By Salvador Domínguez

IF YOU ARE AN ASIAN FOOD LOVER, YOU’LL FIND (AT LEAST BASED ON A QUICK LOCAL SEARCH) MORE THAN 50 DIFFERENT TYPES OF ASIAN RESTAURANTS IN PUERTO VALLARTA. All offer a wide variety of different types of asian food and atmosphere. We’ve selected some top favorites that locals and visitors enjoy, but we encourage you to search and find an asian restaurant that can satisfy your taste buds.

YAMADA SUSHI Located in the heart of the romantic area, Yamada Sushi is one of our staff favorites. The attention to detail is incredible, both from the staff and the owners. When it comes to the dishes they are very generous with their portion size and take great care to make sure everything is super fresh.

We recommend the California tempura roll, the Hibachi with chicken, beef and shrimp and the beef teriyaki which is delicious. For dessert, be sure to order their tempura ice cream , which is spectacular!

BONITO KITCHEN If you like Asian fusions, Bonito Kitchen is the place for you. The restaurant space itself is incredible and allows you to enjoy its great cuisine and attention. There is a beautiful patio and garden where you can enjoy the Vallarta weather and occasionally they have live music.

Their cuisine includes Asian fused with typical dishes from Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan and Korea. It has also recently added fusions with Mexican cuisine.

Francie Nguyen, owner, was the first to bring the taste of ramen to Vallarta. And that's another of her specialties, Ramen, prepared from scratch like the modern Japanese tradition with seasonings, fresh noodles and delicious garnishes. Their three versions are really delicious: shoyu, tantan or vegetarian.

Bonito Kitchen is a restaurant that seeks to explore and blend the traits shared by Vallarta and Vietnamese gastronomy, deepening the mutual love for cheerful, citrus and spicy flavors.

They have two locations in Puerto Vallarta, so check out which one suits you best and visit them!

ARCHIE'S WOK Another Asian fusion option is Archie's Wok, freshly prepared authentic cuisine spanning the Pacific Rim from Thailand to the Philippines, China and Vietnam.

Traditional and contemporary dishes are served daily. We recommend the curry pastas, their ribs served with their famous hoisin sauce and the chiang mai sauce. The menu is truly a potpourri cuisine, combining Pacific Island foods, Asian cooking techniques, fresh ingredients from Mexico and a host of other cultural and culinary influences.

Locally grown ingredients include a variety of vegetables, herbs and spices, such as kaffir lime, galanga, lemongrass, ginger, chillies, tamarind and coconut milk. These are native to both Asia and the Mexican Coast.

Archie's Wok is just steps from the Los Muertos Beach pier and is a great place to gather with friends and family. Enjoy lunch and dinner in this sublime setting with Asian-style dining room and garden.

They perfectly combine the Vegan and gluten free diet in their Italian cuisine. If you are not vegan it doesn't matter because you won't feel the difference from the appetizers to the desserts. Even the drinks, from coffee to wine, everything is delicious. Our recommendations are the Chef's special pasta and the light and crispy Margherita pizza and the Amici pizza with its Parmesan and spicy touch, its flavor will transport you to Italy!

Their desserts are another delicious thing you have to try.

The attentions of its owner and Chef Marco Santini will always make you feel welcome.

Infinity Gabo Brings Passion and Energy to Sensual Massages

IF YOU HAVE EVER VISITED PUERTO VALLARTA, THEN YOU’LL KNOW THAT HAVING A MASSAGE IS ALMOST LIKE A RITE OF PASSAGE. MASSAGE PLACES ARE EVERYWHERE. SOME ARE TRAINED THERAPISTS, BUT MANY ARE NOT.

NO ONE CAN OFFER YOU THE EXCLUSIVE SPIRITUAL AND SENSUAL TREATMENT YOU’LL RECEIVE AT INFINITY GABO MASSAGE. CONNECTING PHYSICAL ENERGY TO THE AURA, MIND AND SPIRIT OF THE CLIENT IS THE MAIN GOAL OF THE THERAPISTS AT INFINITY GABO.

Marco Hernadez is beautiful - inside and out - he is a free spirit - and he is Infinity Gabo. He’s quick to tell you that the name of his business has a very special meaning and origin. The actual name, he says, is Gabriel Infinity. The name was given to him by angels, who he speaks with regularly and who help guide him on his spiritual pathway. Social media and word of mouth are where most of his clients are referred from, and the name evolved to Infinity Gabo to stand out on social media.

Marco is 29, single, and a bisexual. He considers himself to be a very sensual and sexual person, but points out that his massages are not sexual. They are focused on releasing the spiritual and sensual energy in ones body,

Much like his life, he puts his heart and soul into each and every massage he gives. It's part of what has made him so popular.

“I connect with people and people connect with me,” he explained. “I have the gift and the magic to bring the universe together with each massage.”

For services offered please scan the QR code and visit his Facebook page.

“The cost is higher than others,” Hernadez explained. “But at Infinity Gabo, the price is based on what you get with me and my team in each session.”

Infinity Gabo massage is lead by Marco, and he has recently added a female therapist to focus on the needs of their lesbian clients; and another male therapist so they can offer couples therapy and more. Infinity Gabo has clients from all over the word, and Marco travels throughout Mexico to provide services to some of his exclusive clients.

“During my massage I love to connect this beautiful sensual energy inside us,” he said. My massage it’s very very special. I give love and passion in all my sessions.”

His massage studio - his safe space, temple - is located an easy walking distance from anywhere in Zona Romantica. Walk-ins are not accepted and each massage must be scheduled.
