Winner

Jalisco-born chef, Roman Ventura, voted Puerto Vallarta’s “Best Gay Chef”, is a proud member of the Gay+ community. Graduating from chef school 10 years ago, he created Ventura Chef Services, a private chef, in-home dining experience for people living or visiting Puerto Vallarta. Specializing in globallyinspired, Mexican-influenced cuisine, clients select their own menu from dishes developed by the chef to create their own multicourse dinner.

Inspired by his love of Mexico, Chef Ventura also has prix fixe menus representing food from the states of Oaxaca, Yucatan and Jalisco. These menus give clients the opportunity to experience another part of Mexico while visiting Puerto Vallarta.

For cocktail parties and larger events, the chef’s appetizer menu offers guests a selection of delicious bites including options that infuse his Mexican roots with cuisines of Asia, India and Italy.

In the last 3 years, the chef has hosted hundreds of dinners/events and two thousand guests celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, holidays and reunions. Ventura Chef Services prides itself on creating unforgettable food and service experiences.

Chef Ventura thanks his team, sous chefs Luis Peña, Rodolfo Patricio and Anel Tamara Reys, Martin Marino; server/bartenders, Jonny Tamariz, Luis Bernal Tito, Leo Ceballos Luna, and Gallo Estrella; and operations, Eduardo, for their commitment to his food and service excellence.
