SAFETY SURFACES

For Play Equipment with a free fall height more than 600mm, an impact attenuating safety surface is required for compliance with BS EN1176. We supply and install a range of options to suit your play area and budget.

Play Bark

A natural safety surface solution that can be installed using either a raised or sunken pit, however it needs regular maintenance and topping up.

Rubber Matting Over Grass

Grass grows through the matting installed and over time can be mown normally. The matting reinforces a grass surface, which can be used as an impact attenuating surface up to 1.5m fall height. Consider using mats in high traffic areas such as entry and exit points developing worn, muddy patches.

Synthetic Play Grass

Easily laid onto a prepared surface, it needs very little maintenance and is guaranteed for five years. The surface is sterile and will not graze the skin.

Wet Pour

We undertake the groundwork, preparation and laying of the wet pour rubber safety surfacing. Wet pour may be laid in black or a variety of colours and mixes. Wet pour graphics can also be installed to bring an area to life.

Bonded Rubber Mulch

Available in a range of colours, the bonded rubber mulch requires minimal groundwork preparation and can be installed directly onto grass or existing hard surfaces.
