You are starring on UnREAL. Tell us of the project, your character and how has it been filming on such a hit show?

For me, this TV Show is important to me because two years ago I was the “Bachelor” myself, so I know everything about the offscreen backstage life of this project, and of course I heard about UnREAL TV series, too. So when I received in an invitation for the UnREAL casting, I was wildly ecstatic about this chance. Ironically, it was my first role, which I got without anyone meeting me in person. I sent in my self-tape, went on Skype with casting and producers, and that was it! That was amazing. So, I was very lucky to get a chance to work on this great project, and it was an amazing experience for me! I am sure not many people managed to be a bachelor in the reality first, then switching places, becoming a suitor and fight for the heart of a girl in the scripted series “Unreal.” So is was kind of funny - I was the most rebellion Bachelor of all times, constantly doing my own thing and fighting against the editors manipulation, and now I had to be the one of many the girl is goosing from, and obey the script...

Talking about my character, Alexi is one of the most difficult characters I have ever portrayed in my acting career, and it’s one of a few I ever played who I cannot relate with. Nearly none of the things he does I have done of have ever experienced in my life, so it was very interesting for me as an actor, and hard not only morally but also physically.

I am very thankful to the Unreal writers team that they made my character as edgy as you’ll see him in the series, were supporting all my crazy ideas about him, and gave me a chance to realize them. Alexi is the most unpredictable character of this season, an explosive and even dangerous guy, charming and full of vices. His heart is broken by a woman whom he still loves and cannot let go. But first of all, he is an artist of insane talent and passion, a man with an incredible inner drama, in the final stage of self-destruction. I think talent is a fire that the Lord gives to a man so that he shares this warmth with others, like Prometheus. And as soon as one ceases to share this fire - he gets burned by it ... This is what happens to my character. He rushes to the cliff at a tremendous speed to either fall or fly ...

Tell us of some of the challenges you experienced in breaking into the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. How different is it from the industry back home?

I started to perform as a musician age of 6, as young accordionist, wining numerous music contests already back then, long before I even started to sing or act, and I never stopped since. So I spent all my life on stage, and learned that it is the same all other the world - music and art is the most international language which uses energy exchange with the audience and makes no deference who are the people you are making smile and happy with your art, in which part of the world are they, and where are they coming from. As long as you deliver a “real thing” it is winning the hearts all over the place!

Who in the industry would you want to work with?

I just started to realize my American album, written in collaboration with RedOne, one of the world best music producers, having hits of Lady Gaga, JLo and many others under his belt, and I am very happy about it. But as I am writing and directing lots of music videos for myself and for other artists, I have a very interesting collaboration in mind for this year! My music video, “She’s Crazy But She’s Mine” is about the funny prank couple went viral all over the world. And as I saw that people like it, I have made a “music video series” shooting each video for my new single as a new episode. Now I have a great idea for making a different, but as viral music video series for my American album, and I need a very cool and funny girl for it. So, I'll love to collaborate with one of the American girls-viners, they are great!

Have you permanently moved to Los Angeles now or are you living internationally? What are some of the things / experiences you miss from home that you can’t find here in LA?

My home is where my work is, and I am working all over the world, so every artist is in a way like a gypsy... I love Los Angeles for the sun, which gives you the good mood every morning and wish to wake up and go outside. Los Angeles is perfect for creative inspiration, for me it has really a very special atmosphere. My life, cities, countries, and even professions are constantly changing, and I have to switch between them very quickly. And shooting and performing in Europe or Canada makes you leave a part of you in each of these places... And - no, I do not miss the snow!

We know you are an entertainer in all shapes and forms. Aside from acting, you are a singer. Tell us about your creative process as a singer. Describe your music aesthetic please.

Music is a place where I can be myself. Creating music or with microphone on stage I feel the biggest joy, happiness and freedom. When acting I portray other people, not necessary even similar to me, and making music I portray myself. I love 50s vibe, and the music of that period has influenced me a lot - you can hear it in my American album I am starting to release now. I always wrote and produced my own songs, but I started to write symphonic scores 5 years ago, same time I started directing. I used to be torn apart between acting directing and writing music, till I learned how to combine all of it together. Now I white scripts and direct my own music videos and make music for the films where I play as an actor.

You are also creating YouTube content – tell us about the type of content you are aiming to create.

I like to make people laugh. I made them cry a lot in my dramatic roles, so for my YouTube content I am creating the fun videos, where I can laugh together with my fans.

From modeling, to acting, singing, directing, content producer and ice skating, you are quite the decorated entertainer. What is another aspect of your life that you would like to jump into?

I want to reach the perfection in each one of jobs I am doing! It is one of the biggest challenges I have ever taken.

Describe your style!

To describe it in just one word - irresistible! But to be a bit more serious - as I said, I love 50’s vibe, and I am glad this style is back in fashion!
