If you haven't heard her name yet, you've definitely seen her in many of her roles. From appearing on the everlasting "General Hospital," to appearing in films such as the collector to the controversial film Straight A's to XXX, The Daytime Emmy Award Nominee is sure to make Hollywood her home for many years to come.

Q: You have had quite a career in your young age acting “General Hospital” one of the longest running daytime soap operas. How does it feel to be part of such a recording breaking show?

A: It’s amazing!! It’s so cool to be a part of such an iconic show. I love when fans of the show tell me about their parents who’ve always watched, and their parents’ parents who’ve always watched, and stuff like that. It’s a show that has been in households for decades which is pretty awesome.

Q: What made you realize you wanted to be an actress?

A: I was always really into performing when I was little. I’d dress up in princess costumes and sing Britney Spears songs for anyone who would sit and watch. Then, I was the lead in a couple school plays in first grade and I just totally fell in love, so my parents signed me up for acting classes!

Q: On your first day on set for your first movie, what were you feeling and how did you get through it?

A: I was pretty nervous on my first day, of course, but I was also insanely excited. I just kept reminding myself to focus on the excitement and stay present in the moment. It also definitely helped that everyone was so nice.

Q: Who are some of the most influential people in your life who inspire you and push you to be the best you can be?

A: There are a few people who inspire me! Natalie Portman is one of my absolute favorite actresses, for one. I love to watch and study the way she takes on each new character. Another huge inspiration for me when I was younger was Hilary Duff. She was my all time favorite actress when I was little and she was one of the reasons I wanted to start acting myself!

Q: How do you enjoy playing in different TV series? Do your roles vary significantly?

A: I love getting to play different roles on different projects! It’s definitely one of my favorite parts of the job. It’s so fun to be able to really explore each character and get into their though processes. Some characters are lighter and more goofy, like my character Molly on Instant Mom. Other times it can get really intense like when I played Rachel on an episode of Scorpion.

Q: I am sure you have been asked about your film FROM STRAIGHT A’S TO XXX, which is different from your other roles. What did you do to prepare for such a controversial role?

A: I did a crazy amount of studying for this role. The character was based on a real woman, Miriam Weeks. Luckily for me, Miriam did a ton of media so I had a lot of material to work from. I studied everything from her speech patterns to the way she walked to the way she changed when she became her alter, Belle Knox. I watched a docu-series that Miriam did which really got into who she was behind Belle. And she was this seriously awesome strong woman who defended herself and her beliefs, and I really enjoyed getting to portray that.

Q: Congratulations on winning your first Young Artist Award in 2010 and receiving a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award, what do you attribute to your success?

A: Thank you!! I think I am where I am today because of two things: opportunity and hard work. I’m so incredibly lucky to have the opportunities that I do, but it wouldn’t mean anything if I didn’t put in the effort.

Q: If you could create your own character in a movie or TV show, what would she/he be like?

A: I think I would want my character to be super emotionally complex. She’d have a dark, unclear past but she’d use her emotional strength to to help people in some way.

Q: Say you are 40 years older, looking back on your career today: what is one thing you would tell yourself you wish you had done?

A: I think future Haley would tell me that it’s important to seize every single opportunity. She’d tell me to focus on my passion for my craft and let it motivate me to work harder and harder every single day. It’s not gonna be easy, but it’s gonna be worth it.

Q: What’s new for you in 2018?

A: I have a new movie coming out soon!! It’s called “No Good Deed,” and I get to play a sociopathic murderer, which was SO cool. I’d never played “evil” per se and I was really excited to finally get to explore that kind of character.
