GILEAD’S CHECK PRESENTATION TO AIDS FOUNDATION HOUSTON February 7, 2022
Gilead Sciences, a leader in the development of HIV antiretroviral therapies, presented AIDS Foundation Houston (AHF) with a $500,000 grant at BeDesign in honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. AHF will use the funds to continue providing HIV/AIDS prevention, education, and services to the Greater Houston area.
VICTORY IN HOUSTON KICKOFF February 10, 2022
The LGBTQ Victory Fund, which works to elect queer politicians, kicked off its 2022 season in Houston with a reception at the home of Richard Holt and Mark McMasters. The event featured out Representative and Austin mayoral candidate Celia Israel, who is the recipient of this year’s Annise Parker Leadership award.
