Creativity through a time of uncertainty
During the last two years we have lived through unprecedented times and our young people have been affected in profound ways. In education, creativity has been through an incredibly challenging time, due to various lock downs, class bubbles, and remote learning, which has impacted on time in the studio for our pupils and students. These challenging times have been heightened by the removal of an externally set assignment from the examination boards, which would provide pupils and students an examination type of task and a period of sustained focus. At Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, we have done our utmost to provide quality learning opportunities by keeping our art studios open as much as possible. This body of work reflects the art produced during this time and celebrates returning to normality for our A level Fine Art students. Read more
