SPRING AND WHAT IS NEW FOR TOWING COMPANIES
So, what is special about Thursday March 19, 2020? It is the day spring began in the northern hemisphere. The thing I love about spring is seeing new things. I enjoy the fall, but everything looks like it is dying. In the spring, it feels like nature has done a reboot-a new start like when the sun comes up, and we have a new day. Most everyone likes new. Spring doesn’t have the only new things coming down the pike though. In this issue, we are focusing on what is new in technology for towing software, on-scene lighting, rotators and more.
Have you had any challenges in finding good, trained drivers? Dan Messina will be sharing in this issue plans for a new tech school for drivers and wants your input. Jim Lewis has a fallen hero he is honoring as a representative of all those we have lost already. He also identifies the number one problem that draws towers into the legal world. Concerning industry news, two Ohio associations, the TRAO and the APTO, have joined forces to take on matters that effect our industry in one united effort.
Are you experiencing problems with how your vehicles are being driven, tracking them, long arrivals times, losses from insurance because you do not have the right documentation, and struggling with title paperwork? Then check out what top companies have to offer to help increase your financial bottom line in this current issue.
In speaking to a representative from one of the companies who provides services to towing company owners, he closed our conversation by saying “Make it a great day!” instead of “I hope you have a great day!” I liked his focus. He was not a person living in fear of what might or might not give a good day or a good business. He was going out there and making it happen! We can do that by focusing more on what is new and what is our next step ourselves. Have a great spring!
