Jerr-Dan Announces Addition of MPL-60 Wrecker to Integrated Medium Duty Line

HAGERSTOWN, MD. — Jerr-Dan, an Oshkosh Corporation company (NYSE: OSK), has introduced its new integrated medium-duty wrecker, the MPL-60. The MPL-60 is a 12-ton wrecker with a 6,000-pound rated underlift. Key features include a modern, modular aluminum body designed with optimal storage and deck space, fully proportional, dual side electrohydraulic (EH) controls, and hydraulic rear spades with a multi-position, ground compacting foot design.

The new Jerr-Dan MPL-60 model is provided with an integrated recovery boom that has an extended capacity of 8,000 pounds and a retracted capacity of 24,000 pounds. The underlift boom is rated at 5,000/6,000 pounds with L-Arms/Forks retracted or extended. The MPL-60 comes with a standard adjustable auto-level stop assist system. With this feature, the underlift will automatically halt when it is level to the ground. This alerts the operator to extend the self-locking L-Arms at the necessary level to complete the pick. Setting the underlift and L-Arms to be aligned at the perfect level is always essential and even more critical during negatively sloped recovery situations.

The Jerr-Dan MPL-60 model offers either single or dual winch options with a winch capacity of 10,000/12,000 pounds.

Wired or wireless remote controls are available as options.
