Providing visitors an immersive experience of the ocean through multifaceted activities below and above the sea. It encourages and envisages a future where mankind is drawn back to their roots and tie the missing link with marine life. It does not impose but rather behaves as an organism itself. The exoskeleton supports the functional spaces within while hosting macroalgae on the surface.

EQUIM’S EXHIBITIO

A new age ecological museum and interpretation centre offering getaway experiences to visitors in an attempt to reconnect ordinary humans with marine life and educate them about its vitality and need for preservation. 360° aquarium, art galleries, marine biology workshops, research labs, diving school, library and lounge spaces are proposed within the museum.

02 COMPETITION

In a world that is undergoing big changes imposed by the unknown, we forced to believe what we don’t see. Leaving our comfort zone forces us to rethink what we once considered right and which, after all, can be done in many other ways. We all have to hope that these uncertain times pass and that after all one thing we all have in common, we are all human beings regardless of color, race, or religion.

12

24 H COM IDEAS FO

We were briefed to design a space where races and religions have no differences, and everyone respects each other and lives together in peace. We realised that ultimately this was how it should be; however, we are still far from it. In this challenge, we intend to develop an idea of a Spiritual Center shared by religions and races, where everyone can meet with their Gods and pray.

ZERO THR DESIGN C

ZeroThreshold is a design competition that is about more than creating accessible spaces. It’s about elevating the idea of accessibility through intentionally beautiful design.

Organized by North Coast Community Homes, providing homes for persons with disabilities for more than three decades, with generous support from the Cleveland Foundation.

The competition is an important step in changing the conversation about accessibility. Not only will it launch Cleveland towards being the world’s best “barrier- free city”, the solutions that surface can be broadly applicable to cities throughout the United States and around the world.

Design ideas that transform existing urban housing for maximum accessibility, beauty, and design innovation.

ACADEMIC WORK

The main idea is to develop an inclusive society by making every school in India an Inclusive School and stitch the idea of not rejecting any child based on their gender, caste, creed or physical or mental disability. So there is a need to bring Infrastructural advancements, medical aids, and teachers trained to teach all children. Every individual had the right to freedom, speak and education. It is our responsibility as architects to evolve as keeping everyone in mind while designing our built environments.

30

Inclusive design is the key to all. Building environments for the special is also for everyone but the inverse stays false. I intented myself to create the most important built environment that we end up living in our early stages of life, even more than we stay at our homes with our parents. So, ensuring inclusivity and happiness and fulfilling the current needs of the kids are the most tedious and difficult tasks of the society.

INCLUSIVITY; ACCOMMODATING EACH CHILD Theme: Inclusive School, Chennai Time: 2019.12-2020.09 Thesis 2020 Skill set: Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup

SITE SECTION A Childhood is considered as a time when Experiencing nature is the most essential to human physical and mental maturation 36

Biophilic Design is a human-centered approach, with the goal to connect people with nature, interfacing with nature complements our technology-rich environments by fulfilling a basic human need. Directly or indirectly incorporating elements of nature into the built environment reduces stress, blood pressure, and heart rates, while increasing productivity, creativity, and well-being

In schools, natural lighting, views of nature, and areas for outdoor learning increases attention and retention of information, and reduce disciplinary incidents and ADHD symptoms. Distance views to the exterior, particularly of greenery, help to reduce ocular fatigue. Sensory gardens have been successful in providing autistic students relief from over stumulating environments and restoring sense of calm.

06 FREELANCE

Escaping to Nature that Empower You to Be Off. Building balance into modern life — taking the time to rest and unplug from the daily hustle and to focus on ourselves, our relationships, and the wonder of nature is part of the design intention

44

FREELAN PROJECT

The idea to unplug from work, wifi, and routines, and reconnect to who and what matters and simple escaping into to the tiny cabins that are nestled in nature.
