It wasn’t all that long ago when Brent King first put down stakes in Fort Erie, establishing his boutique real estate brokerage, Royal Oak Real Estate, or RORE for short. And now, the business is growing as owner/broker Brent King has added a second location, this one at 8251 Dock St., Unit 3, in Chippawa. “We want to stay a boutique brokerage,” King said. “The relationship we have with our clients is important to us. Ideally, we could have five agents in each office. That would be a nice size.” The grand opening event featured several guests, including Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati, Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates and MP Tony Baldinelli. As a part of the festivities, guests were given goody bags which included gift cards for restaurants in Chippawa. Solid growth, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, set the stage for the expansion. Chippawa was chosen for several reasons. “It’s very boutique,” King said of the village he also calls home. “It’s in Niagara Falls, but it’s not Niagara Falls. It is its own unique market ... has its own unique culture. The people are extremely friendly.” And none of it would have been possible without the success RORE has had in its short lifespan. Past clients are now referring friends and family who are looking to buy or sell real estate. As far as the business is concerned, Chippawa is only the first stop in the business’s growth. King also said other locations for offices in the future include Port Colborne and Niagaraon-the-Lake.
