About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Director/ Head of People to drive forward our People Strategy, with its three simple objectives: • Get the right people in the right places at the right time; • Support our people to learn, develop and progress; • Engage, motivate and retain our people. Areas of responsibility include: 1. Leadership and people management: Providing company-wide leadership in all areas relating to People and Talent, working collaboratively across our global workforce. Leading the global People and Talent team to maximise performance, to support the learning and development of team members and to ensure a collaborative and inclusive team culture. 2. Strategy development and delivery: Leading the next phase of our company-wide People Strategy, taking a collaborative and inclusive approach to determine priorities for the global business and leading their implementation. 3. Policy development and implementation: Reviewing and updating HR policies globally in line with our People Strategy and relevant legislation, and ensuring effective communication of all HR policies. This will require coordination with teams across various geographic locations where ASI operates.

4. Operational management: Providing a high quality, responsive HR service to colleagues across the business and overseeing business processes and the provision of quality services across the full range of People and Talent functions, including: recruitment, onboarding and induction; learning, development and performance management; benefits and relocation support; employee records management and payroll. 5. Values, culture, diversity and inclusion: Working with the Executive Team, the Staff Council and our Diversity and Inclusion Champions to ensure our values are meaningful to all staff and to ensure that our workplace provides an environment of respect where staff of all backgrounds, beliefs and identities are supported to succeed. 6. Budget management: Leading the development of the annual People and Talent budget and oversee spending in line with the budget. 7. Continual improvement: Using data to understand our workforce and the performance of the People and Talent function and use this data to drive continuous improvement across the company.

About you We are looking for a senior HR professional with proven leadership skills, an ability to see the big picture coupled with a hands on approach to getting things done, and a passion for supporting a global workforce to thrive in challenging environments. You take pride in the quality of service you provide; you are both strategic and responsive; you are a powerful communicator and manage wide-ranging responsibilities in a fast-moving environment. You are continually evaluating progress and looking to do things more effectively. You are a team player, able to build relationships at all levels, with people from a range of professional and cultural backgrounds. You demonstrate sound judgment, integrity and sensitivity.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Leadership and people management • Strategy development and delivery • Policy development and implementation • Operational management across a wide range of HR functions • Budget management • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to continual improvement • Comfortable with technology, ability to quickly develop familiarity with new software • Judgement, sensitivity and integrity • We operate a flexible, hybrid working model, combining remote working with 2 days a week in our London office. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Our ideal candidate would have experience in a leadership role in a global professional services firm or NGO as well as strong HR experience. 5
