THE ROLE International SOS
ROLE: Head of Digital Marketing
LOCATION: London
SALARY: Competitive
A seasoned digital marketing B2B operator. First-rate marketing automation/Eloqua/Oracle know-how. This role is instrumental in the design, delivery, management and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns across the Group, using both online (Sitecore, Eloqua and SFDC are the three main tools) and offline platforms to achieve our marketing & business objectives. The key to success of our team is to find, bring in and maximise the number of marketing & sales qualified leads.
The Head of Digital Marketing reports functionally to the Group Head of Digital and administratively to the Chief Marketing & Communication Officer. They work closely with the Group Sales & Marketing Teams, Regional Marketing Directors, The Sales Enablement Team as well as IT and Digital Products and Contents Team. There is one direct administrative report and one intern in Paris. All digital managers (8) in regions report functionally.
• Leads our growth & innovation in digital communications, growing our brand presence in digital channels, their understanding and positive sentiment amongst all service users.
• Maintains & improves the website estate, as well its dashboard measurement, quality control and local microsite governance.
• Assures we have SEO fine-tuned and top search words in first three Google searches.
• Supports regional and central marketing teams with effective end-to-end digital marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives, utilising appropriate marketing channels for lead generation and nurturing.
• Lead digital innovation and incubator process of finding, testing and adopting new software including AI. As well as governing & safely decommissioning where appropriate the software estate.
• Monitors and evaluates campaign delivery against objectives. Looks at new reporting options and marketing attribution models.
• Working collaboratively with regional teams to develop global standards, which improve prospecting and the customer journey.
• Support the growth of our Group-wide social media strategy, planning and campaign activation.
• Provide statistical insights to support the regular and on-going initiation, monitoring and help improve the effectiveness of marketing plans.
• Analyse campaign data and write monthly group marketing campaign reports.
• Motivate others through own commitment and dedication to deliver results, encouraging teamwork by actively supporting others and promoting the team.
• Supports crisis management teams and co-ordinates a follow-the-sun crisis support model for all client communications when advised by the CMT.
• Is well matrixed with IT and digital teams elsewhere in the business and support p1 and p2 priority system outages where necessary and relevant to the market digital assets.
• Assure all software used is infosec approved, documented in OneTrust, regularly audited and at not at integrity risk to the company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
This role requires strong integrated marketing communications experience with a successful track record of planning, delivering and measuring complex digital projects as well as lead generation and nurturing campaigns on an international scale. International SOS marketing is at the front of measuring all elements of the marketing funnel. The person will have analytical and reporting skills with experience measuring success in on-line channels, Google Analytics, Tagmanager, as well as SFDC.
They will be a self-starter, who works well in an entrepreneurial environment, where innovation and delivery of results play a pivotal role. They will be organised with attention to detail, can multitask and prioritise effectively, as well as work crossfunctionally liaising with various stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Extensive direct experience in developing and executing digital communication activities including campaigns (Eloqua), SiteCore or another CMS (web master) either in-house or digital agency side.
• Maybe an ‘EloKing’ or ‘Eloqueen’ and black belt in SFDC, knows who Modern Mark is!?
• SEO experience.
• Experienced in using the Adobe creative suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
• Must have international experience or exposure and able to work with professionals, regional and global team. Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where consensus is the norm.
• Strong influencing skills at all levels, networking ability and confidence with senior decision makers.
• Adaptable, agile minded.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
• Seasoned marketer – ideally in a businessto-business (B2B) or professional services company/agency.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive change.
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the experience of a consultative approach and consensus driven.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Educated to degree level with a specialty in Business, IT, Digital or Marketing or Communications.
REQUIRED LANGUAGES
• Demonstrates impeccable oral and written English communication skills.
• Additional languages of advantage in our mutinational work environment.
