International SOS operates throughout the world and has a physical presence in 90 countries, many of which are focus countries for the global health donor community. One of our key strengths is that we employ local medical and global health practitioners on the ground living and working in the communities we serve and support. This local presence includes provision of significant capacity building opportunities for our local workforce and developing long-term local partnerships. We wish to utilize our global network to make sustainable improvements in healthcare systems globally and to establish emergency medical services backed by telemedicine and innovative digital systems. We intend to offer our full set of services and capabilities to this end.

International SOS will build off our existing proven capabilities and global footprint to expand our profile and business in the field of strengthening Global Healthcare Systems. With a specific focus on key donors and actors within the Asia-Pacific region, International SOS has determined that Manila, Philippines is a strategic hub to embrace this opportunity. This focus includes engagement with the donor and diplomatic communities, ministries of health, building relationships with contractors, NGOs and universities implementing relevant contracts or grants, as well as the full range of partners in the local/regional global health ecosystem.
