It is more than 70 years old and is present in 150 countries 27 of them in the Americas and the Caribbean. The membership is built by one per country. The federation has undergone a governance reform and will start implementing a new strategy in 2023 where the interest is that the member organizations are at the center and that they are the ones who, from their knowledge of the context, nurture the federation. IPPF members receive core grants, benefit from exchanging lessons learnt, are accredited and important topics such as diversity and social entrepreneurship n are addressed. They are global leaders in sexual and reproductive rights and health, youth and gender issues.
IPPF is a network of nongovernmental organizations working for sexual and reproductive rights.

Part of Global PLI Community of Practice
To ensure high quality delivery, build and develop utilisation of targeted performance metrics and drive a culture of learning to deliver maximum impact working across the Region and as part of the Global Performance, Learning & Impact team.
Context of Role:
• Advising and supporting Architects of Cooperation, Contract Managers and External Relations staff on monitoring, evaluation and key result areas.
• Working with Communications staff to match data with narratives and stories to better illustrate impact.
• Advising and working with AoCs on supporting MAs to strengthen systems and data quality.
• Working collaboratively with Global PL&I team to develop the function.
Management Responsibility:
• Data Analyst (or shared access to a Business Analyst).
Role Deliverables:
• Ensures the generation and analysis of data and evidence in the region required as part of IPPF Strategic Results Framework.
• Advises on and provides effective and efficient monitoring and evaluation tools, frameworks, processes, systems and training.
• Provides quality assurance on data and ensures performance and evaluation data is tracked, current, cleansed, accurate and consistent for reporting and decision-making purposes, including QRM and donor reporting.
• Evaluates data (quantitative and qualitative) to identify strengths/weaknesses and implements mechanism for corrective actions, continual improvement and scaleup of evidence-based best practices.
• Promotes and shares learning, best practices and knowledge within the Region and across the Secretariat to enable progress.
• Contributes to Donor Reporting and APR working collaboratively and pro-actively with colleagues across the Secretariat.
• Conducts/commissions qualitative research and pro-actively collaborates/partners with regional, national, global institutions and working groups to optimise progress, knowledge sharing and leading-edge thinking.
• Actively contributes to and prioritises the creation and evolution of global tools and frameworks to support the development of the whole Federation.
• Ensures data is utilized to inform programming and decision-making at MA and global levels.
• Track record of excellent M&E implementation at regional or national level in a programmatic and development sector setting.
• Evidence of developing and using digital tools and systems to enable effective performance tracking, evaluation and knowledge sharing.
• Facilitation and Training skills with evidence of intervention design and development (ie: action centred learning practitioner).
• Evidence of embedding standards and performance measures delivering tangible improvements to benefit impact and performance.
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and evidence of using quant/ qual data to inform decision-making.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills with evidence of coherent, evidencebased reporting in English and Spanish. French is desirable.
• High level of organisational skills, planning and time-management with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Evidence of co-ordinating and managing people and teams well to create a learning environment.
• Pro-active, collaborative, develops strong professional networks and able to adapt/work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Role models safeguarding, antiracism and no discrimination and acts with integrity.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to safeguarding in a local and international context.
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to work in a diverse, multicultural, multilingual and intergenerational environment that is anti-racist and respectful of others.
• An intersectional (pro) feminist passionate about sexual reproductive health care rights + justice, including safe abortion.
• Supportive of people’s rights regardless of sexuality or gender identity/expression and supportive of worker’s rights and access to health care in sex work.
