About Manufacture 2030

Are you inspired by the prospect of joining a fast growth and market-leading tech business that’s on a mission to tackle climate change by accelerating the transition to low carbon, sustainable supply chains?

Manufacture 2030 is a purpose-led software company. Our mission is to bring major corporations and their supply chain partners together to turn bold carbon commitments into reality, creating a more sustainable future by 2030. Our cloud-based SaaS platform helps supply chain owners and their suppliers to measure, manage and reduce carbon

emissions and other environmental impacts. We believe, that in order to achieve our mission, Manufacture 2030 needs to be: Optimistic, Collaborative, Agile, Pragmatic and Inclusive; and as individuals, we try to embrace these values in the way we work.

A message from the CEO and Chairman

I am so glad you have decided to apply. The world needs you!

Climate change is the challenge of our time. The latest IPCC report out this month should fill us all with horror. We are putting at risk the very existence of human civilization and the futures of our children and grandchildren.

But it’s not yet too late. It can be solved if we act together now. For this is the decade for making a difference and if you join our Senior Leadership Team you have decided to act decisively; to be both a lever and a catalyst for decisive change and to punch far above your weight; to make a real difference.

The challenge of carbon is pervasive and embedded in the way we live and do business globally. That makes it feel overwhelming. But there are some very powerful points of leverage which can drive change and one of those is the influence large corporations have over their supply chains. For most brands, whether in retail, automotive, fast moving consumer goods, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals, over 60% (and sometimes as much as 90%) of their emissions sit in their supply chains. Change those supply chain emissions and, quite frankly, you start to change the future of the world.

That should give us grounds for optimism, and it is why, at Manufacture 2030, we are applying all our energy to addressing supply chain emissions, and increasingly to great effect. We work with global corporations like Toyota, Reckitt, GSK (and over a dozen others) who have signed up to NetZero or

Science Based Targets. This is a very fast-growing band of committed corporate pioneers and we are the leading platform and service globally, helping them to achieve their supply chain reduction targets with growing confidence. Last year alone, new supplier site subscriptions grew by over 150% and in one of our programmes, 800 suppliers reported an average reduction in carbon intensity at their sites of 17% over 3 years.

But we have to move much faster; increase ten-fold the number of corporations and their suppliers using our technology; and accelerate the rate of reduction being supported by our programmes. We have shown what is possible and believe we have the strategic plan to grow and deliver change at scale. This is where you come in.

In this role, you will be critical to driving our expansion internationally to the point where we are engaging over 30,000 suppliers by mid-decade and delivering innovative and collaborative carbon reduction projects that will transform entire supply chains. Your strategic financial expertise in scaling operations will be key to the success of our business.

We are delighted that you are interested in joining us; and so are future generations.
