1. Clarins Most Dynamic Woman Award. Since 1997, this award recognizes exceptional women who devote their time to helping children in need, suffering from violence, poverty or sickness. Over 75 women from France and 14 countries worldwide have received the award for their incredible work. This award is also a way to financially support their associations and help them in the long term. 2. Access to water. I n the regions of Poun and Mogueya in Burkina Faso, support from Clarins has enabled ongoing work on providing access to water, to guarantee harvests and additional revenues. The construction of wells and water reservoirs has helped ensure the autonomy of around 6,500 people.

4. Plantations in China. Two programmes for the regeneration of social and environmental ecosystems in China have begun in partnership with Pur Projet. In Liming, in Yunnan province, the planting of medicinal plants using agroforestry techniques is helping to pass on knowledge and generate income for local populations.

7. Jean-Pierre Nicolas. A n ethnobotanist with a unique idea: to reintroduce medicinal plants, used in traditional local medicine, in areas where people do not have access to conventional medicines. (Jean-Pierre Nicolas is founder of the Jardins du Monde association and winner of the 2004 ClarinsMen Environment Award).

9. Harungana and responsible beauty. The harungana extract used by Clarins is obtained through a fair trade programme in Madagascar. A fixed amount of the purchase price is allocated to Clarins local partners for the set up of community projects in the harvest area.

3. Solar Impulse. F aithful to its pioneering spirit and its desire to raise awareness about saving natural resources and respecting the environment, Clarins is a partner of the Solar Impulse project led by Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg. The concept is “simple”: to take off and fly a plane, using only solar energy.

5. The Courtin Arthritis Foundation. Created in 1989 and headed by Dr. Olivier Courtin-Clarins, the Foundation is dedicated to research into chronic inflammatory rheumatism to help discover and assess new and innovative therapies. To date, over 600 research projects have already been completed. Arthritis continues to give hope to sufferers, providing information, working on prevention methods and improving patients’ quality of life.

Place a small amount of product onto the fingertips. Gently massage onto damp skin to work into a lather and proceed to exfoliate all parts of the face (avoid the eye contour). Rinse well with warm water.

Soak a cotton pad and gently wipe over the face and neck to gently and effectively cleanse skin in one easy step. No need to rinse off. Ideal morning and evening to wake up the skin and prepare it for skin care products applied afterwards.

Select the sun care product best adapted to your skin type and level of sun intensity. When in doubt, choose the higher SPF. Apply thoroughly before going out in the sun and always to dry skin. Reapply often, at least every 2 hours, especially to sensitive areas. Reapply after swimming (dry off first). Always remember to wear a hat and sunglasses. Avoid peak sun hours (11pm - 4pm). Keep children under the age of 3 out of the sun.
