Making the right use of a Body Scrub People have become more sensitive towards their choice of cleansing. They have distinct weapons loaded in their bathroom to all the types of skin problems they face or can perhaps come across. There’s a Facewash in a tube that gives you distinct protection from any problem that can pop-up on your face. But here's a catch, if the natural body scrub and the soap, both are used to clean the body, then why don't we use a scrub instead of the soap every day?

To understand the basic difference in the usage, you can’t use natural face scrub soap every day over your regular soap bar because its usage is a bit harder on your skin(in a safe manner) as compared to the regular soap bar and it isn't advised to use it regularly as it can cause some damage to your skin to some extent as well.

The application of exfoliates body scrub the dead skin cells from the uppermost part of your skin and makes it appear more buff and renewed.Everybody wants freedom from dead skin cells and exfoliating powers of a scrub soap are a perfect answer to that. However, here we're focussing more on when and when not to use a body scrub.

When we should and when we should not use scrub soap: If you want to know how often you should use face scrub for dry skin, let your skin answer it. The usage of the scrub varies with skin types. More sensitive the skin is, less frequently you should be using it. When exfoliation is done, your skin tends to absorb whatever you apply to it, which is perhaps, the best time to hydrate your skin and replenish it with the right nutrition. Although, more importantly, here are the occasions when you should avoid using scrub soap:

1) After a skin treatment- Exfoliation works on the topmost layer of your skin. When your skin goes through a medical treatment, the layers of skin cells are already in process of recovery and there's a chance of a delayed development or an injury on the skin. 2) After a skin injury or in the course of a skin related problem: Your skin goes through a lot of changes during the course of a medical condition. Be it an injury or an issue that might appear trivial to you. 3) After Sunburn: This is similar to the issue related to using a scrub on a damaged skin. As Sunburn itself is damage, you should rather skip the exfoliation when Sunburn comes into the picture.
