I - SPECTREX è una treccia composta di pura fibra Spectra. Ogni filo è composta da 60 fibre intrecciate in un unico filo composto da 240 fibre. Il filo è legato con il colore in modo da assicurare la stabilità dello stesso, dopodichè viene applicata una resina che aumenta la robustezza del tessuto e lo rende idrorepellente. Tutto questo significa un’aumentata sensibilità perché il fattore di elasticità è quasi pari a zero, un’accresciuta potenzialità del filo intesa come rapporto robustezza/diametro. Spectrex IV, a test fatti e a parità di diametro, risulta estremamente più resistente (anche del 30/40%) dei suoi più accaniti concorrenti. GB - SPECTREX is a braid comprising of pure Spectra fiber. Each carrier comprises 60 strands braided into a single line made up of 240 strands. The line is cross-linked with the colour in such a way as to ensure colour stability, and a resin is then applied to increase the strength of the braid and make it water-repellent. All this means increased sensitivity, as the elasticity factor is virtually zero, and greater line capacity, owing to the strength to diameter ratio. Tests conducted against lines of the same diameter show Spectrex IV to be very much stronger (by as much as 30/40%) than its closest competitors. The line also goes very smoothly and is UV-resistant and water-repellent. The wide range of diameters available and the Moss Green and Yellow colours mean that Spectrex IV is used for all types of fishing.

F - HYDROFLOAT est un fil réalisé avec des fibres Spectra et avec un revêtement thermocollé flottant. Bien que Hydrofloat soit utilisé pour différentes applications, avec un moulinet à bobine fixe ou tournante, il a été spécialement conçu pour le Float Fishing (flotteur), pour la pêche de saumons et d’autres espèces de poissons. La capacité du flottement de Hydrofloat laisse aux pêcheurs la possibilité de contrôler le fil y compris à grande distance. Contrairement à la plus grande partie des fils tressés, le revêtement spécial élimine complètement les emmêlements, car il est complètement dépourvu d’élasticité. La charge de rupture élevée est évidemment un facteur à ne pas sous-estimer.

La capacità di galleggiamento di Hydrofloat permette ai pescatori di poter controllare il filo anche a grandi distanze. Diversamente dalla maggior parte dei fili trecciati la speciale copertura elimina copletamente gli imparruccamenti. Essendo completamente privo di elasticità. Ovviamente da non sottovalutare l’elevato carico di rottura.

C’est justement grâce à la pureté de la matière première et grâce aux technologies d’avant-garde d’extrusion que P-Line présente CFX qui possède sans l’ombre d’un doute un niveau d’invisibilité dans l’eau plus importante que tous ses concurrents et cela lui permet d’augmenter remarquablement les captures en donnant au pêcheur la possibilité de pêcher avec des diamètres plus importants, et par conséquent, avec une plus grande sécurité. I - HALO - Grazie all’altissima tecnologia nell’estrusione, all’uso delle migliori materie prime disponibili e ad un considerevole sforzo economico a sostegno della ricerca e dello sviluppo, P-Line ha potuto realizzare l’ultima generazione di monofili in fluorocarbonio, denominati co-fluoride, andando oltre ogni aspettativa dei pescatori. A differenza di un normale fluorocarbonio, un co-fluoride è composto da una “miscela” di diversi tipi di cristalli puri di fluorocarbonio. Sapendo che i vari cristalli hanno diverse caratteristiche l’uno dall’altro, è stato possibile “miscelarli” in modo da poter ottenere la migliore combinazione possibile, dando ad Halo forza lineare e al nodo, ridottissima memoria meccanica e, grazie all’omogeneità della sua superficie, una grandissima scorrevolezza nel lancio. Poiché Halo è 100% fluorocarbonio, non assorbe acqua, ha un bassissimo indice di rifrazione della luce, particolare che lo rende invisibile in acqua, ha un peso specifico molto più alto rispetto ai tradizionali fili, che fa sì che possa affondare molto più rapidamente, una bassissima elasticità e la resistenza ai raggi UV. Halo è prodotto con una nuova colorazione traslucida mist green, ottima per la pesca in laghi, fiumi e acque salate.

Unlike a standard fluorocarbon, a co-fluoride comprises a “mixture” of different types of pure fluorocarbon crystals. Given that the various crystals have different properties, it has been possible to “mix them” so as to produce the best possible combination, giving the Halo linear and knot strength, very low mechanical memory and, owing to the homogeneity of the surface, exceptional smoothness in casting. As the Halo is 100% fluorocarbon, it does not absorb water, has a very low refractive index, making it invisible in water, and it has a much higher specific gravity than conventional lines, allowing it to sink much more quickly, very low elasticity and good UV resistance. Fluorocarbon has a refractive index similar to that of water making it almost invisible once it enters the water; the purer the crystals and the more advanced the extrusion technology, the less visible the fluorocarbon. Il possède une mémoire mécanique faible et une très grande souplesse (effet de soie), CX Premium élimine les problèmes de fil sur le moulinet et grâce à sa grande homogénéité de surface, il augmente de 10/20% la distance du lancer. Sa couverture spéciale en fluorocarbone et en silicone élimine l’absorption d’eau qui a des effets négatifs sur les performances du fil. Toutes ces caractéristiques sont exaltées par la force linéaire et par le nœud. Environ 20% d’élasticité en moins par rapport aux autres fils, à permis d’accroître la sensibilité au toucher et à la réaction des plus petites captures. L’objectif de nos ingénieurs était de combler le vide existant entre nos deux fils tant populaires : le CX Premium et le CXX X-tra Strong, en maintenant un prix raisonnable. La qualité la plus importante pour un pêcheur est caractérisée par la fluidité des lancers et le C21, grâce à sa souplesse, s’envole littéralement du moulinet car il est virtuellement sans mémoire. Étant donné que C21 est un copolymère composé par deux différents types de nylon, il créé de façon synergique un fil adapté aussi bien pour les moulinets de spinning que pour les moulinets de casting.

Aujourd’hui comme à l’époque, P-Line Original est apprécié pour ses qualités exceptionnelles et il est utilisé par un grand nombre de pêcheurs. C’est un fil qui possède un excellent rapport entre diamètre et charge de rupture; de plus, sa fabrication le rend particulièrement souple sans être excessivement élastique, il est donc parfait également pour la réalisations de terminaux. P-Line Original est un fil irremplaçable pour le big game, car il possède une charge de rupture réelle supérieure à tout type de fil de diamètre égal. Sa couleur spéciale blue fumé est l’une des rares couleurs pouvant se définir “neutre”, c’est-à-dire qu’il ne génère aucune méfiance, aucune agitation et qu’il n’alarme pas les poissons. Une autre caractéristique importante de ce fil consiste à absorber une grande partie des vibrations qui se produisent par l’effet du frottement du fil avec l’eau et qui sont perçues comme étant des signaux d’alarme par les poissons.

I - PF ORIGINAL - Quando P-Line Original fu introdotto per la prima volta negli USA, stava emergendo una nuova era nelle tecnologie dei copolimeri. Oggi come allora P-Line Original è apprezzato per le sue eccezionali qualità e utilizzato da un numero incredibile di pescatori. E’ un filo che ha un ottimo rapporto tra diametro e carico di rottura, inoltre ha una lavorazione che lo rende particolarmente soffice ma non eccessivamente elastico, ottimo quindi anche per la realizzazione di terminali. P-Line Original è un filo insostituibile nel big game, in quanto ha un carico di rottura reale superiore a qualsiasi filo di eguale diametro. La speciale colorazione smoke blue è una delle pochissime colorazioni che si possono definire “neutre”, cioè che non generano nei pesci diffidenza, agitazione, allarme. Un’altra importante caratteristica di questo filo, consiste nell’assorbire gran parte delle vibrazioni che sono prodotte dall’attrito del filo con l’acqua e che vengono recepite come segnali di allarme dai pesci.

I - EXTRUSION - Extrusion è il risultato di anni di ricerca di un team di grandi pescatori e di una squadra di preparatissimi ingegneri. Extrusion è stato ottenuto mescolando tre diversi tipi di nylon con un processo speciale di estrusione, aggiungendo poi un additivo per la resistenza all’abrasione. P-Line ha dato vita a quello che è il copolimero tecnologicamente più avanzato nel mondo della pesca. L’ordine impartito agli ingegneri era quello di costruire un filo sensibile, con una straordinaria resistenza alle abrasioni, unita ad un livello di elasticità ridottissimo e a una superficie esterna priva di impurità, così da favorire la scorrevolezza nei lanci senza, ovviamente, tralasciare il carico di rottura. Lo speciale additivo contro l’abrasione fa sì che P-Line Extrusion, sia inattaccabile da rocce, cozze, canne, rami ecc…, fattori che si rilevano devastanti per i tradizionali fili. Il ridotto allungamento di Extrusion (circa il 40% in meno rispetto ai tradizionali fili), permette di avere un contatto ancora più diretto con il pesce, aumentando la sensibilità del pescatore, limitando al minimo il tempo di reazione nella ferrata e aumentando quindi il numero di catture.

GB - EXTRUSION - Extrusion is the result of many years of research by a team of major anglers and a group of well-briefed engineers. Extrusion is produced by combining three different types of nylon with a special extrusion process, then adding an abrasion resistant additive. P-Line has created the most technologically advanced copolymer in the world of angling. The instruction given to the engineers was to produce a sensitive line with extraordinary abrasion resistance, combined with a reduced level of elasticity and an outer surface free of impurities, thus facilitating smoothness in casting, obviously without compromising the breaking strength. The special anti-abrasion additive makes the P-Line Extrusion resistant to damage from rocks, mussels, reeds, branches, etc., all elements which are disastrous for traditional lines. Extrusion’s reduced stretching (some 40% less than that of conventional lines) allows even more direct contact with the fish, heightening the angler’s sensitivity, reducing reaction time to a minimum and thus increasing the number of catches.

Il a été ordonné aux ingénieurs de construire un fil sensible, avec une extraordinaire résistance aux abrasions, un niveau d’élasticité très réduit et une surface externe sans impuretés pour favoriser le glissement dans les lancers sans évidemment oublier la charge de rupture. Cet adjuvant spécial contre l’abrasion permet à P-Line Extrusion de ne pas s’attacher aux rochers, aux moules, aux roseaux, aux branches etc…, ce qui représente des facteurs ravageurs pour les fils traditionnels. L’allongement réduit de Extrusion (environ 40% en moins par rapports aux fils traditionnels), permet d’obtenir un contact encore plus direct avec le poisson, en augmentant la sensibilité du pêcheur et en limitant au minimum le temps de réaction dans l’effort et en augmentant par conséquent le nombre de captures.
