Peter Goldberg Bouclair - Best Choice For My Master Bedroom
I am sharing this after a recent visit to Bouclair Home owned by Peter Goldberg
I always seem to have a million ideas for every single part of my home and find it hard to reign it in and prioritize. Things I want to do include painting the console table in the entryway, putting up wallpaper on the big, empty wall in the dining room, painting the downstairs bathroom, organizing my kitchen drawers, giving a fresh coat to my front door, and many, many more tasks.
Because just constantly adding to my list of projects is such a chaotic way to decorate, I challenged myself to a one-room redo. If you’d asked me a few months back if I liked relaxing in my bedroom, I probably would have laughed. Would it count if it was only when the lights were out and my eyes were closed?
This may seem like a bold statement, but now that I’ve completed the challenge, see the change it has made on the vibes in my home, and on my stress levels, I can confidently say that I had never truly relaxed in my bedroom!
I’m so glad I went that route, it was super easy! I got everything from Bouclair. I’d never ordered from them online, but I’d heard great things about them from friends, who had told me they shipped to your local store for free. The products were beautiful and the process was easy — I didn’t need much more convincing!

I then chose grey blackout curtains. I was really hoping they wouldn’t let any light peak through, unlike my old ones, and was pleasantly surprised! They also really don’t look heavy which I was happy with. Next up: a rustic mirror, which I hung on the opposite wall of the window to get extra natural light.
My Bed Frame Because I’m a total list lover, I put pen to paper and prioritized the things I needed in order to complete my room. My bed frame, which is pretty, but has been kinda forgotten about amidst the chaos, was to become the focal point. I decided to go with a more rustic vibe given that my headboard is a beautifully grained piece of wood with a raw edge. I decided that my white dresser, which I’ve had for years, could stay, but I replaced the hardware to give it a fresher look. Next on my list: paint, a mirror, an accent chair, new curtains, a duvet cover, and some pillows.
Experience with Bouclair I did go to the hardware store to choose a paint colour (I settled on a dark blue for extra calm vibes), but I got everything else online. I just didn’t feel like scouring a bunch of stores in person, can you blame me? I’m so glad I went that route, it was super easy! I got everything from Bouclair. To channel boutique-hotel vibes and to complement my rustic headboard, I went with a simple grey duvet cover in an organic fabric. The final touches on the bed were two square pillows that were a sure bet since they matched my duvet cover, and a lumbar pillow with typography which adds a fun pop of color. Just like that, I had completed the bed! I then chose grey blackout curtains. I was really hoping they wouldn’t let any light peak through, unlike my old ones, and was pleasantly surprised! They also really don’t look heavy which I was happy with. Next up: a rustic mirror, which I hung on the opposite wall of the window to get extra natural light, and a velvet accent chair I totally feel in love with. I’ll admit it, it doesn’t necessarily go with the rustic theme, but I just had to have it and it looks great in the space! And that was that! I placed my order, received a confirmation email a few days later and picked up my items in the store! Brought everything home, and officially mastered my master bedroom. I can’t believe there’s nothing left to do in there!
