The little boy said hi to the duck

A little boy saw a duck in a field full of colorful flowers.
He quaked at him, but this confused the duck.

The duck turned around and ran away.
The little boy became upset and started to cry.
He did not understand why the duck ran away.
All he tried to do was to say, "HI."

A few minutes passed before he looked up and heard a familiar sound.
It was the duck standing in front of him with a flower in his beak.
The little boy smiled and took the flower. He started to dance and the duck said, “Quack Quack!”

The little boy was happy about his new friend.

The little boy wanted to learn how
 to skate

The little boy wanted to learn how to skate, but his daddy comes home from work late.

He did not want to wait for the weekend or for a friend to come along.
He decided to try it on his own.
"It's really hard," the little boy thought.

He was ready to give up when the duck appeared wearing roller skates. This brought a smile to the little boy’s face and made him try again. With the duck as his mate, he was ready for a skate.

The little boy & the duck got lost

“What are you doing duck? It is getting dark, let’s go home!”
“Quack Quack!” Was the ducks response as it continued to roam.
The little boy did not know what to do, the duck's quack gave no clue.
They are lost and without a map.

The duck spread his wings and began to flap,
if he could fly high the house might be revealed,
but he had wounded his left wing earlier
in some thorn bushes outside a corn field.

They kept on walking unaware they were walking in a big circle. The sky grew darker. The clouds turned purple.
Only a few more steps to go,
until they reached the house in time for supper,
but as the night came quicker the way got rougher.

The little boy was tired and needed a rest.
The duck said:“Quack Quack!” and pointed his wing west.
He began to run, excited with joy.
”Wait for me!” yelled the little boy.
But the duck did not listen and kept on walking even faster.
The little boy had no choice but to run after.

He started to smell his mom’s chicken-noodle soup and knew they were almost there. Mommy was waiting, already serving supper, setting the table and silverware.
She was happy to see them step inside but she noticed a peculiar thing.
“Wait a moment!” Come closer. What happened to the duck’s wing?

Mommy said to the duck:
“Come with me! I know how to fix this.” She took a warm wash cloth cleaned his wing and gave it a kiss.
“Does this feel better? “The duck said, “Quak Quak!”
“I promise it will heal”. They returned to the kitchen and finished their meal.

The little boy dreamed a dream last night

The little boy fell asleep before his mom turned off the light.
He dreamed the duck and him were in a big theatre.
The little boy found himself on stage and the duck sat in a chair in the audience.

The little boy turned into a magician and performed astonishing tricks. Both of them had a lot of fun.
The duck said,”Quack Quack!”, after the little boy was done.
When the little boy woke up from his dream, it was already morning.

He went outside to look for the duck.
When he found him, he gave him
a big hug and the duck said,”Quack Quack!”
The little boy said, ”See you after school duck.”

The little boy came back from school

The little boy came home from school and found the duck waiting for him in his room.
He said to the duck, ”Hey friend, how are you?
I have to tell you what happened to me today!”

“My teacher asked me to be the main character in our school play!”
The duck got excited and began to move his wings up and down.
He became so excited he pooped on the floor
in the middle of the little boy’s room.

The little boy got upset and crossed his arms.
He did not know what to do or what to say.
The little boy looked down and was about to frown, but instead smiled.

He said to the duck, ”I know you are very excited for me! Thank you! Let’s clean up before mommy comes in and tells you to go outside!” The duck said,”Quack Quack!”

The little boy and the duck said hello to the moon

The little boy said, “Let us go home, it is late. Don’t make me wait!” The duck shook his head and looked somewhat sad, so
the little boy decided to stay
 until the moon said, “hey.”

The duck was motionless and looked up into the sky.
The little boy knew that the duck was thinking about
flying high, but he once broke his wing
 and since that day
 he could not fly.

The little boy said, “Don’t be sad, you will be okay!”
and he pictured that one day the duck will fly
up into the sky and he saw himself waving after him and then he said,
“Be careful! Don’t try too hard!”
 The duck said,” Quack quack!”

The little boy and the duck sat down next to a big rock.
A beautiful butterfly landed on the duck’s back.
The boy said, “Look! there is a butterfly on your back!
Mom says this means good luck!” The duck said, “Quack quack!”

Together, they listened to the wind whispering words in their ears.
Suddenly the moon said hello and the little boy and the duck waved.
The moon smiled at them. It was time to walk back home.

The little boy met the bubble
 maker

The little boy said to the duck,
“Last night I dreamt that I met the bubble maker and he offered me a ride, but I said, no, thank you!”
“Don’t worry, it’s alright!” he replied.
“Just keep in mind I am here to help and guide you.”

I said, ”Thank you! Maybe one day I’ll understand
and I will be in need of a helping hand,
but today I appreciate what I got and so
I’ll keep on walking but I really enjoyed talking!”

“I am glad to hear that! Good luck!
You will make it if you keep listening to your heart!”
Before the little boy could say another word,
the bubble maker disappeared and the little boy knew
he was walking in the right direction because he followed his heart.
All the duck said was, “Quack quack!” and the boy smiled.

The little boy and
 the duck decorated
 the Christmas tree

The little boy said, ”Let’s decorate the Christmas tree!”
 The duck said, “Quack quack!”
They walked into the living room to open the box
mother put on the floor next to the sofa.

“Oh no! They are broken!”
All the ornaments inside of the box were broken
and the little boy became upset. The duck went
into the kitchen and after a little while returned with a bag.

He gave it to the little boy and said, “Quack quack!”
The little boy looked inside, he saw colorful paper
and some sparkling ribbon, but he didn’t know what to do with it.
The duck got a piece of paper out of the bag
and made it into the shape of a ball.

Then he put it into his beak and threw it on the Christmas tree.
The little boy smiled. Now he knew what to do.
 They created their own ornaments
and together they decorated the Christmas tree.
When mother came home, they were all done and she was surprised.

She said:
“Wow, both of you did an amazing job, thank you so much!
I am proud of you! I guess we don’t need the new ornaments
I just got from the store. You two deserve a big hug!
How about a hot chocolate?” The little boy said,
” O yes!”, and the duck said, ”Quack Quack!”.

The little boy tried to stand on his head

The little boy broke his hand while playing in the sand
by trying to stand on his head to see the world upside down.
As soon as he stood on his head, he fell.
The duck became sad. How about that?
He tried to help and said, "Quack quack!"

The little boy was lying in the sand crying and holding his hand.
Mommy turned around and picked him up.
The little boy could not stop crying.
Mommy took him to the doctor.
When they got home the duck said,"Quack quack!"
The little boy said, "No worries, I will be fine!”
The duck was happy and kissed the little boy on his cheek with his beak.

The little boy and the duck had to go home early

The little boy climbed up the hill to hop into some water.
Hop! Hop! Hop! He splashed the duck and the duck said,
“Quack quack!” The little boy laughed and the
 duck swam around and around.

Suddenly they heard thunder so they ducked under the water.
 A voice began calling them.
The little boy turned around and he saw his mommy.
“We need to go home. The weather is getting bad.” She said.
 “Okay mommy!”

The little boy and the duck swam to shore,
they were sad they couldn’t enjoy swimming anymore.

When they got home, the little boy screamed out loud,“
I smell apple pie, yummy for my tummy!
 Can we have some mommy?”
“Of course sweetheart, I made it just for you.
“I hope now you won’t be sad you had to come home early.”
“Thank you mommy, I am happy and duck is happy too.”

The little boy and the duck played inside

Today the little boy and the duck had to stay home.
It was too dark to play outside. It looked as if it were night.
The little boy and the duck looked outside the window but
they could not see very far. They stood still
and listened to the rain for a little while.

The little boy got an idea,
"Not all of the rain drops are the same!
Let us play a game. I look at the ones on the left
and you watch the ones on the right.
Let's go for a ride! The fastest drop wins."
 The duck said, "Quack quack!"

The little boy and the duck played outside

The little boy and the duck were walking
when they saw a big pile of leaves.
“Yay! let’s go and play!” said the little boy.

The duck said,”Quack quack!” and ran after the little boy.
They jumped up and down throwing leaves up in the air.
 Leaves were falling everywhere.

The farmer from next door came by to say hi,
but frowned when he saw the mess.
He left and returned with a broom and gave it
to the little boy and said,
“When you are done, please make a pile again.
It took me quite a while.
The leaves were ready to be picked up,
but now they are a mess”.

“Sorry, we didn’t know, we will clean up the mess.”
The farmer was impressed by the little boy’s honesty and left with a smile.
When the little boy and the duck finished cleaning up the mess,
they went happily to return the broom, to say good bye and see you soon.
