Since the first foam core glassfibre blades produced by Ainsworth in the early 70’s we have continued to push the boundaries of composite technology. We have a large range of paddles from entry level to professional. Our current AFT construction is way ahead in providing lightweight, bouyant paddles that can take a level of abuse far in excess of our competitors.

STANDUP SURFING PADDLES Stand-up paddle surfing is the latest watersport to hit the UK’s West Country. In 2007 Ainsworth created an extra long paddle especially for the sport. For the 2008 season, we are introducing two new moddles.

SKID LID - Helmets Ainsworth continues to develop new concepts in the manufacture of helmets. They offer significant improvements over other manufacturers. Our shells are up to 10mm thick and have shock absorbent properties that outperform all others. The CE approval test demonstrated that while other helmets often only stood up to a single impact before degrading, SKID LIDS remained effective over multiple impacts. They also offered up to five times as much shock absorbency. This outstanding performance is achieved by a unique manufacturing process, invented by Ainsworth. The shell is made from Elastomeric Polyurethane, reinforced with graphite and glass fibres. This construction is not only tough, but also offers better heat insulation than other methods of construction. The helmets incorporate an Acrylic caped tough ABS skin, available in in various colours. They have soft, comfortable, washable liners that are fixed with Velcro. Sizes:

Ainsworth is so confident in the performance of its paddles that it offers a massive 3 year warranty. The warranty applies from the date of purchase and is restricted to the original purchaser.
